Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in myopinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectlyreflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave thepeople in her works vivid characters.
The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman whomakes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly youngman, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feelsuperior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane issimple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl whoalways has her own opinion.
Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant. Kitty doesn’thave her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl whofollows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When Iread the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. Thatis why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britainin the 18th century.
The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favouritetopic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratumsituation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can findthese from the very beginning of this book.
Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies inthis perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. AlthoughAusten was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observationof social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively.
The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plotis as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride andPrejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, herbook still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at hertime and in modern time.

人人都有偏见，如果能将这些不必要的偏见连根拔除，一定能让我们相处更为融洽。
说实话我也有偏见。记得小学的时候，我们班里有个同学，在此我们就称他为吴小莉吧!吴小莉她每天穿着邋里邋遢，头发乱糟糟的，头上像顶着一窝乱稻草，她的脸上经常抹着鼻涕、灰尘。加之她的成绩也不好，大家都不愿接触她。当然，也包括我。
记得有一次老师在报听写，吴小莉忘带橡皮了。她拍了周边的几个同学，没有人愿意借给她。她又拍了拍我，胆怯的问道：“那个……你有橡皮吗?”“巧了我也没带橡皮。你去问别人借吧!”我说道。她失落地转过身去，问另一个同学借橡皮。其实橡皮就在我左手中握着，不是没带，只是我也不想借给她罢了。
还有一次学校举行运动会，老师把我和吴小丽分到了一组。我不想和她分在一起，虽然说她体力很好，我没话说，但是和她一组心中有一种厌恶感。我没法控制这种感觉，走到老师面前说：“李老师，我和我们班的李小小配合默契，我和她已经练了好几遍了，但我和吴小莉没练过，所以我想和李小小一组”。如我所愿，老师答应了。
我偷偷瞟了吴小莉一眼，她那双不怎么明亮的眼睛里透着些许的失落和难过。我收回眼神，有股对自己的厌恶感，也有种负罪感。
有一天，天公不作美，非在放学时下大雨。我没带伞，又要自己回家。把班里的同学借了个遍，大家都要回家，没办法把伞借给我。我失落地坐在自己的座位上，正想着怎么回家才能不让自己变成“落汤鸡”，吴小莉走了过来，轻轻地拍了拍我，“你是要借伞吗?我的给你吧!我家离得近”。她边说边把伞递给我。我愣愣地接过伞，她说了声“再见”，就顶着雨跑远了。我心中受到了巨大的冲击，她说的每一个字，每一句话都像针扎向我，让我躲避不及。
现在，每每回想起小学时我对吴小莉的种.种表现，我都后悔不已。我可能一次又一次伤了她的心。我自认为我是公正的，没有偏见的，我自认为对谁都是平等的。
现在我们都小学毕业，各自都在不同的中学读书。吴小莉，你现在过得好吗?是否人有人对你如我这般恶劣?我无从知晓，也不敢再想。只希望你的同学都能和你友好相处，不要像我那样对你有偏见。
在对待一个人时，不能因为外表，种族等问题作为评判他们的标准，而是要拿出一颗真诚的心，来欣赏他们的内在美。跟偏见说再见。才能让这世界充满温暖和快乐。

我的奶奶对男孩女孩存有偏见，这得从她对待孙儿孙女的不同态度上就可以看出来了。
我妈妈的第一胎是个女孩儿，也就是我的姐姐。在妈妈大肚子的时候，没有人知道是男是女，而奶奶却总在别人面前胸有成竹地说：“肯定是一个男孩儿，我马上就要抱孙子啰!”奶奶的话总让妈妈感到压力山大。妈妈听了这种话也只会难为情的笑一笑罢了。
之后妈妈的肚子越来越大，奶奶更是很仔细的照顾妈妈，什么家务活都不让妈妈碰一下，妈妈要去哪儿，奶奶都要陪着她，绝不让妈妈一个人单独出去，就连妈妈想到邻居家玩一玩，奶奶也绝对会与妈妈形影不离的。
过了一段时间后，妈妈在医院里把姐姐生了下来。奶奶当时并不知道是个女孩儿，听到爸爸的电话后，奶奶就在外买了很多东西，来到了医院。爸爸在院门口等奶奶，奶奶一来第一个问题就是问爸爸是男是女，爸爸告诉奶奶是个女的。奶奶听了脸色立马变了，把手中的东西给了爸爸，然后转身就走了，连一句关心的话也没有。
自从妈妈生了女孩后，奶奶就再也没有在外人面前口出狂言了。直到三年后，我的姑姑生了个男孩儿。奶奶高兴的不得了，天天把他捧在手里，不愿拿开。
又是一个四年过去了，妈妈也生了个又白又胖的小弟弟，奶奶身上就发生了质的变化。奶奶不仅重男轻女，还重小轻大。弟弟生下之后，奶奶更是对她宠爱有加，天天把弟弟抱出去玩，还给他买了很多好吃的，好玩的。姐姐和我在奶奶眼中若有若无。
奶奶，我很想对你说，告诉你现在已经是什么年代了，你还重男轻女，重小轻大，你疼爱孙儿没有错，可男女本身就是平等的，你又为什么要这样重男轻女呢?
