《海底两万里》是法国作家儒勒·凡尔纳的第二部作品。当我捧起这本书美读时，我就好像走进了奇妙而神秘的海底世界。
1866年，海上出现了一个行动敏捷的“庞然大物”，人们认为它是一条独角鲸，一个学富五车的科学家阿龙纳斯教授要把它除掉，最终，明白了这条独角鲸是一艘鹦鹉螺号的潜水艇，这艘潜水艇上的船长尼摩是一位国籍不明的人，他把阿龙纳斯教授、阿龙纳斯教授的伙伴尼德·兰和阿龙纳斯教授的仆人康塞尔一齐囚禁了起来，没让他们离开潜水艇。
之后，他们一齐周游了太平洋、印度洋、红海、地中海、大西洋以及南极和北冰洋，遇见了许多罕见海底动植物，还发现了海底洞穴、暗道和遗址等等。尼摩船长心地十分善良，看到朋友去会无声地落泪；会把上百万黄金送给穷苦的人；会收容所有厌恶陆地的人；会把满口袋的珍珠送给可怜的采珠人。有一次，在南极缺氧的时候，潜水服的储蓄罐里只剩下一丝空气了，可是尼摩船长并没有吸最终的空气来维持生命，而是把空气给了阿龙纳斯教授，他为了别人而牺牲了自我，他的壮举让我顿时泪流满面，心生感动和震撼！
有一次，阿龙纳斯教授和尼摩船长去采珠，他们在途中看到了许多稀有的珍珠，尼摩船长带着阿龙纳斯教授去了一个海底岩洞，里面有一个十分大的珍珠，这颗珍珠是尼摩船长自我养的，阿龙纳斯十分佩服尼摩船长。
还有一次，阿龙纳斯教授和他的伙伴们看见了一个巨型海马，他们到了小艇上，尼德·兰猛地用鱼叉叉那只海马，海马挣扎了一番就了。回到船上，阿龙纳斯教授还和他们一齐吃了一顿海马肉呢！
最终有一天，阿龙纳斯和他的伙伴一齐逃出了鹦鹉螺号，可是，阿龙纳斯很想念善良多才的尼摩船长。
读完儒勒·凡尔纳的《海底两万里》这本书，我十分佩服作者写作的高超技巧，它是我读过的文学作品中最喜欢的一部小说，我喜欢看《海底两万里》这部书。
