有一次，爷爷卧病在床，吃药吃饭只能在床上，需要有人伺候才行。有个人来请爷爷写对联，爷爷用尽全身力气站起来，奶奶和爸爸个人把他搀扶到书桌旁，爷爷竟然一笔一画地写了一副对联。当人家来取对联的时候，意外出现了——一爷爷居然把对联扔进了垃圾桶，微笑着对人家说：“对不起，这次我不舒服生病了，字没写好，我特别不满意。这样吧，等我身体好了再给你重写一副吧！真是不好意思。”我们站在一旁都惊呆了。
过了几天，爷爷还真的重写了一幅对联并裱好送了过去。要知道裱对联可是很贵的，我真的不明白爷爷为什么要自己倒贴去给人家裱好呢？
直到有一天，爷爷告诉我：他从小就没有娘，是村子里的人将他养大，他只不过是在报恩。
