我是贵州省普安县楼下镇赵屯村四组农民范学芬，女，现年54岁。我家有三个孩子：长子赵宗海，次子赵忠江，三子赵宗森。我丈夫赵廷学原是楼下镇赵屯村的民办教师。由于家境贫困，2007年，为给孩子筹集学费，赵廷学在从兴义返回赵屯村的途中不幸车祸身亡。丈夫的去世使家庭彻底丧失了经济来源，使原本贫困的家庭雪上加霜。
为供次子和三子上学，我的长子赵宗海只得含泪辍学打工，我也只好到赵屯村附近煤矿上做苦力，每个月赚取两三百元的微薄薪水供孩子上学，现在已经负债累累。
尽管家境贫寒，但是我的次子和三子在学校学习勤奋，自强不息。2006年7月，次子赵宗江考入贵阳商业专科学校;2009年7月三子赵宗森考上贵州民族学院化学系。由于赵宗森在家中学历最高，我期望他将来能为贫寒的家庭带来一线希望。然而天有不测风云，今年9月，刚进学校就读一个多月的赵宗森就被查出患上肾衰竭，在贵阳医学院附属医院治疗一个多星期未见任何好转，并花去医药费八千多元。由于经济和护理上的困难，我只好将他转到黔西南州中医院进行治疗。肾衰竭是医学上的绝症，如果要康复只能进行换肾手术。但是手术费用高达四五十万，这对我们家庭来说简直就是一个天文数字。为了维持它的生命，在无钱进行换肾手术的情况下，目前，黔西南州中医院采取的是液透析的治疗方法，每次治疗费用高达七八百元。液透析治疗需要每隔三四天进行一次，而且需要长期进行不能间断。现在，亲友们捐助的两万多块钱已经全部花光。
作为母亲，我眼睁睁看着病魔一天天灾蚕食着儿子的生命，却无能为力。我真是喊天天不应，求地地不灵!每每念及于此，我无比痛心，只能以泪洗面。为了挽救儿子年轻的生命，在走投无路万般无奈的情况下，我只能请求党和政府向我们一家伸出援助之手，恳请社会各界向我们这个贫困家庭伸出援助之手，你们的恩情我们全家将永世不忘。我也希望能早日医好儿子赵宗森的病，让他早日康复读完大学，学成本领回报党和政府，做一个对国家和社会有用的人才!
