当他以“草蛇灰线，伏延千里”这八字为他续写的《红楼梦》作序时，“狗尾续貂”之说以铺天盖地的形势迅速将红学界渲染的乌烟瘴气。刘心武还未出书就“出师未捷身先”，却得到了红学大师周汝昌的支持，并大赞刘为“伟人”。
而我想说，经典之所以为经典，是因为其用简单而不乏真实的艺术表现形式为人们所接受。而过于将这份优雅自如的简单愚昧的复杂化、娱乐化，并企图用自我的方式将人们已耳濡目染的简单与纯粹残忍的用商业化的方式去解读，相信是会无疾而终的。即便新续写的《红楼梦》绮丽又奢华，但存活在心中那个单纯清晰的红楼之梦，会无端涂抹上一层浓墨重彩，被复杂化的经典会会因回想自己曾经的简单而不平、愤懑、受冤。
当今社会物欲横流，似乎再也搜索不到简单又纯粹的作品去满足我们日益膨胀的精神需求。就连那一方净土《红楼梦》，也被庸人俗士践踏的面目全非，又和外乎其他呢？早年电视机普及之时，美国的波兹曼就提出过“波兹曼诅咒”，对于文化和作品的娱乐化、复杂化、扭曲化提出了未卜先知的担忧，而这个诅咒如今却在中国的土地上得到了充分应验。拜简单所赐，我们现在阅读的东西真的都“不简单”。
这可以谓之“脱节”，社会变革与文化进展的严重而又悲哀的“脱节”。
而重温过去，鲁迅从俄国作家果戈理的《狂人日记》中汲取灵感；今人李健吾模仿清人杨鼐的《登泰山记》写成的《雨中登泰山》；唐人写诗重情义，宋人写诗重理性……这些无一不是成功的'典范。其实简单就是这样无需粉饰，利用文学的相同性，让文学与文学对话，让作品与作品交流，让自己质朴的理念渗透进一笔一画，一字一句。创作者用其简单又纯洁的意念完成对文学的注脚，是没有任何商业和娱乐目的的单纯的文学活动。
“草蛇灰线，伏延千里”，还当真是如此呢？也许，以后，我们再也看不到贾宝玉简单又纯真的笑容，再也嗅不到林黛玉简单又真挚的泪香，再也听不到内心在呼喊简单自然的生活。也许，也许，到那一天，我们才会大声求助——
请不要把经典复杂化，请让简单的作品且活着！

泰山黑龙潭下边有个白龙池，据说小白龙从前住在这里。有一次，玉皇大帝叫小白龙下一场狂风暴雨，但他不忍心毁坏老百姓的庄稼，只下了一场牛毛细雨。下激怒了玉帝，罚他到人间做苦工。小白龙到人间去做短工，并和一个姓崔的姑娘相爱结婚。有一年，赶上大旱，庄稼都快了，小白龙偷偷地显现龙形，帮助下了一场透雨。但它的原形还是让人发现了。它的妻子听到传闻后，不相信，追问丈夫，并让他现出原形给她看看，小白龙被逼无奈，现出原形，一下子把他的妻子吓了。后来人们为了纪念小白龙为民浇地的好处，在泉边盖了一座白龙庙。
小白龙，不存在于现实，可这个故事赋予了小白龙以助人为快乐的品质。
我们是龙的传人，不屈不挠的精神，拥有龙自由完美的能力。龙，虽然不存在于现实生活中，但他的精神值得每一个中国人学习！
