网络，现在已经几乎是人人都在使用的一种工具，然而，随着网络的越来越发达的技术，对我们有利也有弊。
初二以来，英语老师常要我们翻译课文，那些课文，每篇都有半页那么长，而且新的单词又多，我总是翻译不出，又不能草草地应付了事，于是我便直接上网找到了那些课文，并在网上翻译，那样真的方便多了，不会再抓破脑子来想是什么意思了!但是，很快的，我在做题时又遇到了那些单词，但是由于我之前是直接上网查翻译的，而且，翻译时也只顾着抄，根本就没有用脑子记，什么意思一股脑儿的全忘了。于是我又去查，这次，吸取了教训，我把它记在了书上，也记在了脑子里。
仔细回想，我以前也遇到不会的题就上网查答案，语文、数学、英语、科学、社会……好像都查过了，而且有时候，我还抱怨着，网上的答案不够全面，有的答非所问，有的我根本就看不懂，在挑剔之余，却没有好好地回想一下那些题目为什么要那样做，也因此导致了我的成绩下降。其实，这些题目本来就应该是我自己完成的，是我懒得动脑子，上网去查答案，这种行为本来就是错误的，还好我及时改正了。
当然，网络并不是那么坏的，它也有好处，它可以查询地图，查阅资料……还有一点很重要的，那就是微博。我曾多次看到有人通过微博上找到了自己迷失、拐走的家人，还有人通过微博求救，使自己逃离了传销魔窟，还有在灾难之后，有人用微博来鼓励人们，或是寻找亲人。网络越来越普及了，但是我们要控制好自己，让我们来操控网络，而不是让网络来操控我们。
网络就像是一张白纸，只是看你是如何来画的，利用它的。
