来到府衙，首先看到的是仪门，就是礼仪之门。旁边有一个石牌写着：文官在此下轿，武官在此下马。走进仪门后是一堂、接着是二、三堂和两个地牢。师竹轩是师爷们休息的地方，西花厅是县太爷喝朋友见面的地方，地牢是用来关重犯的地方，遗憾的是，地牢大门锁着，游客不能进去参观。导游说，南阳府衙是中国保存最完整的三个衙门之一。
我们去府衙的目的就是为了了解南阳悠久的历史。
