能够在寓教于乐中给人以智慧，使人进步，那是所有人求之不得的事。于赓哲先生的《隋唐人的日常生活》满足了我上述的所有要求。
如果你是《百家讲坛》的忠实观众，应该对于赓哲先生不陌生。他对唐代历史文化的研究相当了得，往往三言两语之间，就能够准确概括某历史人物的生平功过，或某历史事件的来龙去脉。
本次出版的这本书，是他根据电视讲座内容整理编辑而来。通俗易懂，简单有趣，分门别类讲述隋唐人的各种生活习惯。配合着唐诗、传奇故事，引经据典说历史文化。对那段历史感兴趣的朋友一定不要错过。

书中引用了王梵志等人的诗作，借故事来反推当时人的想法。比方说新嫁娘3日之后调试羹汤要先让小姑子尝尝，别让婆婆不开心，比方说买药去哪里，如何配，如何利用宗教迷信麻醉并靠神佛保佑等等。从中我们不难发现历史局限之下，普通民众对美好生活的向往。
