Zhang Xin is our monitor. She is tall, healthy and lively. She does well in all subjects. She is fond of sports and is good at singing and dancing.Zhang Xin works hard at English. When she came to the school, she had quite a lot of difficulties with the language. But she was not afraid of them and always tried her best to overcome them. She was active in class and did a lot of practice after class. No pains, no gains. With great efforts she made much progress in English study.Zhang Xin is modest and always ready to help others. She is very strict with herself in her work and daily life. She sets us all a fine example.
张欣是我们的班长，她长得很高，身体很好充满活力。她各科都很优秀，喜欢运动，且能歌善舞。她学习英语很刻苦，刚来的时候，学习英语有语言障碍。但她从不怕困难，并且不断尝试去克服困难。她在课堂上很积极，课后也做很多练习，一分耕耘一分收获，这些努力使她英语取得很大的进步。张欣很谦虚，而且乐于助人，她对自己的学习和工作都严格要求，为我们树立了好榜样。

Today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment.
We can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site. People like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike. On my opinion, the best way to travel is by train.
First, it is very cheap. Compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money.
Besides, taking the train is much safer.
People don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. Second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train.
Though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to Tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. Taking the train is the best way to travel.
今天，随着人们过上更好的生活，人们追求的娱乐。我们可以从新闻上看到当节假日来临的时候，很多人聚集在景点。现在，人们喜欢旅游，他们可以坐飞机，坐巴士甚至骑单车。在我看来，最好的旅游方式是坐火车。第一，这很便宜。和其他方式，如飞机和巴士，坐火车便宜很多，人们可以省下很多钱。而且，做坐火车也更加安全。人们不用担心坠毁，这地发生在飞机和巴士上。第二，我们可以在火车上欣赏风景。虽然火车很慢，我们可以好好看看美丽的风景，当我们去西藏的时候，可以在旅途中看到不同的颜色和不同的大山。坐火车是最好的旅游方式。

新学期开始了，老师又重新分配了桌位，我的同桌变成他。他是个男生，瘦瘦的，个子比我高一些，眼睛圆溜溜的像两颗葡萄，圆圆的眼睛上长着一对三角形似的眉毛，就像一只狐狸一样。他生气起来的样子可吓人啦！
The new semester began, and the teacher redistributed the table, and my deskmate became him. He is a boy, thin, taller than me, like two grapes eyes round and round eyes on a pair of long triangle like eyebrows, like a fox. The way he got angry was frightening!
记得有一次，有个同学路过他的位置时，不小心碰到了他的胳膊肘，他就气得暴跳如雷，吹胡子瞪眼的，立马“嗖”的一声从位置上站起来，大声吼道：“你为什么要撞我呀！我的`胳膊肘都被你撞得痛了。”那个同学连忙连声道歉：“对不起，对不起，我不是故意的，下次我绕道走。”这才平息下来一场风波，要是那个同学不道歉的话，可有好戏看了。他们肯定打起来了。我到现在都记得他那次生气时的样子，他的眼睛瞪得圆圆的，像两颗乒乓球似的，都快凸出来了呢！那眼睛上面的一对眉毛更像狐狸了，还两手叉着腰呢！看这架势就想要打架的样子，谁看了他都害怕。他这幅样子我现在回忆起来仍然清晰可见，还有点胆战心惊呢！

不过，他要是不生气的时候，其实，也是蛮和善的。我和他一起同桌坐了好些天了。他到也没发什么脾气。脸上也会露出一些笑容来，还会露出两个小酒窝，倒是也蛮可爱的。希望他不要在乱发脾气了。同学之间本来就应该和睦相处的，大家和和气气的，多好呀！
But if hes not angry, hes pretty nice, too. I have been sitting at the same table with him for many days. He did not lose his temper. Usually, she spends half an hour in learning English that takes us much to remember vocabularies and read the articles. Moreover, she not only focuses on her own study, but also helps other students in need. Classmates like asking her for help, because she is always ready for help. However, I prefer to regard her as my friend rather than desk mate. We communicate with each other frequently after class. We discuss our study as well as share our lives. She is desperately interested in playing badminton, so do I. We would play badminton very Friday after class, which helps us relax ourselves as well build our body. It’s so great to have a desk mate that has interest in common.

在英语村里，模拟了现实生活中的四个场景——“城市馆”、“自然馆”、“生活馆”和“商业馆”，四个场馆中的部分物品和布景都是实物，每个场馆又被分成几个场景，外教和中教轮流授课，我们这次可真是与英语世界来了个亲密接触。在全英语的语言环境和实物情境下，我们对学习英语的兴趣变得前所未有的高涨。就比如说在城市馆里吧，刚进城市馆，一个美丽的大都市——上海的模型立刻呈现在我们的面前，那一个个地标性建筑物的模型，在镭射灯光的映衬下是显得格外的雄伟壮丽，你甚至猜想不到的是在城市馆里居然会有一节能移动的地铁车厢，在最后一节课中，老师终于带着我们“乘坐”了一次地铁，这“地铁”中，老师不停的作者令人捧腹的`动作，使得大家都争先恐后的想“乘坐”一次平时已经坐得习以为常的地铁。每当外教拉开悬挂的粉红色幕布时，或旋转布景板进行场景切换时，我们都会发出声声惊叹，因为，我们以前从来没有这样学习过英语。在商业馆的超市里，甚至可以看到真实的收银机等等实物，我们真实地体验着用英语对话来购物的整个流程，我们扮演着不同的角色，来学习这个角色所要说得话；在生活馆里，老师会用英语生动地为我们介绍各式厨具用品，并且还和我们做游戏，让我们在游戏当中来巩固与加深你对这个英语单词的印象，如果你读得好的话，老师会和你拍手，表示鼓励；在自然馆中，我们仿佛亲身来到了大自然中，有热带雨林，有北极，海洋，在教室的墙上还贴着国家的地图和标着英语单词的国旗名称，在自然馆中最有趣的还是要数在进门时有一座假山，不高的假山上悬挂着一个吊绳，仿佛可以真的用来攀岩一般。我们不时为老师们幽默、生动的语言、表情和肢体动作爆发出阵阵笑声，为同学的精彩表现鼓掌加油。
通过这次活动，让我们在现实生活中快乐的学习了一次英语，也然我的英语水平提高了不少，希望以后这样的实践活动多一些，能够我们丰富我们的课外生活。我期待着有更多的同学能来到这个英语村里来，让他们也体验到更多学习英语的快乐！

My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses. Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man. He often helps his neighbours and some strangers whom he doesnt know at all. He has really done a lot for others. I dont like him to do so because I think it has taken him too much time. When I discourage him, he always says with a smile,The world needs warm hearts.
My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking. The Best Way of Traveling最好的旅游方式
People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.人们会乘坐飞机、火车、轮船、公交车去旅游。对于我来说，最好的旅游方式是暑假期间徒步旅游。
On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.暑假的时候，我通过旅游去释放自己和游览乡间。当我用双脚走在铺满小草的小径或山间时，我感觉（自己）远离城市的喧嚣，并且更亲近大自然。当我徒步旅行时我可以得到更多的自由。我可以自己选择行程。我可以自己选择路线。只要喜欢，我就可以停下来。而且我可以看到很多人和事，那些我可能乘坐火车或公车旅行而错失的。
When faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, I still favor using my own feet. I get much pleasure from it. 当更快、更方便的旅游方式变成通用的，我仍然支持用自己的双脚（旅行），我从中得到了许多乐趣。
