一个风和日丽、阳光明媚的早晨，小鸟在枝头歌唱，一片生机勃勃的景象。
在一片西瓜地里，西瓜们都坐着谈天说地，快乐地享受着生活。此刻，一阵风把一只红气球吹到了西瓜地。那只红气球穿着一身红色的连衣裙，头上还系着一个粉色的蝴蝶结，漂亮极了。西瓜们望了望，又继续聊起来。
红气球昂着头、挺着胸，摆了摆手，说：“嗨，大家好!”西瓜们也都向它打声招呼，红气球边摆弄自己的裙子，边说：“看看你们一个个穿得衣服，一点鲜艳的颜色也没有，真难看!”绿西瓜们只是微微一笑。红气球又用轻蔑的口吻说：“你们难道一直都在这个破地方呆着呀?真不可想象有多枯燥，一点情趣都没有。”一个西瓜憨厚地说：“对呀，我们可没有你本领大，能飞到别的城市。”红气球故意用怜悯地口气说：“唉，你们好可怜啊!”另一个西瓜说：“我觉得我们一点也不可怜，在这里生活照样很精彩。你都去过什么地方啊?”一阵微风轻轻吹来，红气球有点飘飘然了，夸起口来：“我去过伟大的首都北京，游览过闻名世界的万里长城，还有上海的东方明珠……”红气球接着炫耀下去，其实它从来没去过那么多地方，只是想让西瓜们羡慕自己，而西瓜们早就听得不耐烦了。这是又一阵风吹来了，红气球还没玩而够呢，就被吹上了天，西瓜们都哈哈大笑。空中的红气球更骄傲了，便展示自己飞的本领。一只鸟从天空飞过，以为红气球是什么好吃的，飞过去一啄，红气球破了。
红气球消失了，而绿西瓜们还在地里快乐的生活着。

You'll probably have two children of your own – a girl(Michaela Anne and a boy (name yet to be decided.If everything goes according to plan you'll be living in Australia in a big house in a small town outside of a big city with a lot of land, a dog, Gwynn and your two beautiful children. Hopefully you have a career in the medical field, maybe doing research in genetics. Gwynn will be a computer programmer and you will be doing alright for yourselves.
However, if things don't go according to plan for you, I wish you all the love, happiness and joy in the world and don't settle for anything less than the best since that is absolutely what you deserve.

甜甜兔买回来一台电视机，小动物们知道了，都来瞧新鲜。
小猴子说：甜甜兔，这叫啥玩意儿?怎么玩儿的呀?
甜甜兔说：这呀!叫做电视机，只要一按遥控器上的按钮，就能看到非常有趣的东西。
大伙儿听了，纷纷发出赞叹的声音：这可真是一件神奇的东西啊!
小老鼠更是凑近了瞧。
甜甜兔得意极了，它按了一下遥控器。
电视机一下亮了，里头还出现一只猫!大猫一下子冲小老鼠冲过来，害的小老鼠一下子蹦的老远，躲在角落里直发抖。
这可把大家伙儿都惊呆了，甜甜兔却笑的直不起腰。
小老鼠生气的说：哼!甜甜兔，你这是什么可怕的方脸怪兽呀?都吓我了你还笑呢!
甜甜兔指了指‘方脸怪兽’，边笑边说：哈哈哈哈!你们瞧吧!那只猫是不会出来的.!
大家往电视里一瞧，小老鼠也用手捂着眼睛，露出一条缝隙，透过缝隙里看。
果然，那只猫被困在电视里，出不来啦!哈哈哈哈!

齐国有位黄公，做什么事都很谦虚。他有两个女儿，容貌都非常美丽。但黄公常常用谦虚的话来贬低她们的容貌，说她们长得丑陋不堪。两个女儿丑陋的名声传得很远，以至于到了出嫁的年纪，国内没有一户人家来聘娶。
卫国有个了妻子的人，他不太了解黄家女儿的情况，把黄家的一个女儿娶走了。之后才发现，这个女儿竟然有倾国倾城的美貌。于是他对别人说：“黄公喜欢谦虚，有意说自己的女儿长得不美。其实他的两个女儿都非常漂亮啊!”
于是，人们都争着去黄公家送聘礼求婚，后来有人把黄公的另一个女儿也娶走了，她果然也是沉鱼落雁的美女。
两个女儿长得漂亮，这是实情，而说她们长得丑陋则是她们的名声。这就是不管名声才能知道事实啊。
【说明】 这则寓言告诉人们，一个人如果过分谦虚，违背了实际情况，也会产生不良的后果。
