记得在二年级的时候，一天同桌小刚的胳膊，因为下楼不留神一打滑摔断了，住进了医院中。从那天后我一直忍受着没有同桌的`孤独心情来上学。就在一个晴朗的早晨，我和往常一样，沮丧地走进教室，可是我惊奇地发现，早来的几位同学中竟有我的同桌。怎么今天……我疑惑不解地走到他身旁，只见他的右臂被夹板紧紧地夹着，一条白纱布挎在他的脖子上，兜着那条伤胳膊，往日他那干净的小手，现在已肿得像大馒头似的。我不解地问：“嗨，都成啥样了！你还来上学？怎么不回家多休息休息呢?”他却满不在乎地对我说：“再怎么样也不能耽误听课呀，学习对于我来说是最好的休息。”说着，他还咧嘴对我笑了一下。
上课了，老师讲完了整数乘法后，让我们做课堂练习时，我发现小刚吃力地打开文具盒，拿出来了一支铅笔，准备开始做题，我轻声地叫住了他，说：“小刚，你的手都这么肿了，还是不要写了。有可能会很疼的！”他笑了笑，说：“没关系的，这点小伤算什么，我还可以用左手写呀！”说完他皱起眉头，用左手写了起来，看他那一副别扭的样子，我无奈地摇了摇头，心里想：哎，真拿他没办法。
终于下课铃打响了，同学们犹如脱缰的骏马一样一同奔向操场，尽情地玩耍起来，而小刚却一直坚持不懈，咬紧牙关吃力地写着。笔随着他的左手一拉一划，动作缓慢极了。看他写的字，有大有小，歪歪斜斜的，再看他那副认真的劲儿，一会儿甩甩手，一会儿耸耸肩……在寒冷的天气中，他的额头上竟有一颗晶莹的汗珠。煞那间，一种敬佩之情油然而生。
望着他那执著、努力的身影，我陷入沉思，心想：这不正是顽强的毅力吗？不正是刻苦的精神吗？我在心中暗暗敬佩小刚，不禁为他竖起了大拇指！

Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. Second, as there is much free time, they can make use of it and gain the valuable experience. Students can join some clubs to develop more interest, or find part-time jobs. It is better than to stay in the dorm and play computer games all the time.
第二，由于空闲时间多，他们可以充分利用好这些时间，并从中获得宝贵的经验。学生可以参加一些活动来发展更多的兴趣爱好，或找份兼职工作。比呆在宿舍玩电脑游戏好多了。

Mike would like to be a writer. He’d like to share his wonderful stories with others. Tom would like to be a cook. He’d like to cook delicious food for others. I would like to be a policeman.
