一天，我坐在沙发上没事做，而妈妈却在忙里忙外地坐着家务。看着妈妈忙碌的身影，我的心中闪出一个动机――帮妈妈做家务活。
开始，妈妈硬是不让我做，她说：“你平时在家里娇生惯养的，还想帮我做家务，别帮倒忙就行了！”我撒娇地对妈妈说：“就是娇生惯养才要锻炼嘛，您就让我做，您往歇着吧！”妈妈被我缠得无可奈何，最后还是答应了。
首先要做的是擦地，妈妈叫我不要用拖把拖，要用抹布擦，这对我来说可是高难度的呀！我先从外面打了一桶水提到屋里里，有从桌上拿来抹布。我把抹布丢在水桶里浸湿，在拧干，然后学着妈妈的样子，挽起袖子，把抹布牢牢地攥在手里，接着半蹲在地上，使劲的擦着，地上的灰尘全都被我擦掉了。有时候，腿蹲得酸了，我干脆跪在地上擦。我从角落里往外擦，从房间擦到门口。等我把地擦好后，我已是汗流浃背，两边膝盖也跪得红红的，但看到一尘不染的地面，我的心里甜滋滋的。
干完了第一件家务后，我来到房间里，看见床上有几件脏衣服，我便把这些衣服拿到洗衣机里，预备开始洗衣服。我先往洗衣机里放水，在把脏衣服全部放到洗衣机里，再

星期天下午，我独自一人在家，我突然发现家里很脏。地面上有纸屑，还结了一层厚厚地灰尘，桌子上也有纸屑。书房里书摆放的乱七八糟，有的掉在了地上，有的歪歪斜斜的。我想：平时都是爸爸、妈妈打扫房间，很辛苦！今天我也应该为父母敬一份孝心，把房间打扫干净，让他们可以轻松地度过周末。说干就干。我找来扫帚，使劲打扫。地面可真脏，我来来回回扫了好几遍，终于把纸屑、果皮扫干净了。但还有一层灰。我又拿来拖把，用力地拖着。我好不容易才把地面拖的干干净净。望着洁白又干净的地面，我满意地笑了。这时候我已经满头大汗了。我想到床上去休息一会儿，我一走进房间，看见桌子上有橡皮屑，地面上有书本、铅笔、尺子。我想：一不做、二不休，做就要做完，不做就不做。我连忙跑到桌子前把书、铅笔、橡皮、尺子一个一个地放回到原位。我又走到书架旁，又把地上的书放到了书架上，把歪歪斜斜的书放整齐。我费了九牛二虎之力才把房间整理的干干净净。这时候，我已经累得气喘吁吁，一下子就躺倒在床上。晚上，爸爸妈妈一进门，看见客厅又洁白又干净，房间也变得洁白发亮，简直就像一面镜子似的，乐得眉开眼笑。妈妈高兴地亲了我一口、爸爸一下子把我抱了起来呢！我想我已经长大了，应该帮爸爸妈妈分担家务事了。经过这次做家务，我知道了爸爸妈妈做家务的辛苦了。
