我们家有三栋房子，每一栋房子都是一本厚厚的书，记载着老一辈的辛酸苦辣和奋斗历程。
先说第一栋，那是座落在山村里的三间泥土垒成的茅屋，墙有一尺多厚，下面用黄泥垒成，到了檐口用土坯收边，屋顶上铺着茅草，后来又换成了麦秸，那是爷爷和奶奶在年轻时，请了好多人帮忙才盖起来的，我的爸爸、姑姑都在这座房子里长大成人，随着岁月的流逝，爷爷和奶奶在变老，爸爸和姑姑在长大，房子也在渐渐的老化。
到了九十年代，因为爸爸要结婚，所以家里又在草房子的旁边盖了第二栋房子，是用砖砌的墙，上面盖的瓦，还加了走廊，做了水泥地面，这一座房子在当时的农村算得上是高档的，为了建这栋房子，爷爷每天天不亮就起床去到山上选下地基的.石头，然后用老牛套上板车拉回来，因为那时的路不好，所以好多砖头都是人挑的，爸爸说，为了盖这座房子，他的肩膀都磨掉了好几层的皮。再后来，又陆陆续续的拉起了院墙，盖起了厢房，但不论怎么变化，依然还是泥巴和砖结构。
这几年，因为城乡经济的发展，家里的经济也渐渐地好了起来，爸爸和妈妈商量了以后，又在镇上盖了一座二层小楼房，不锈钢的大门，塑钢的窗户，水磨石的地面，二楼还贴了地板砖，因为面积很大，所以爸爸妈妈都劝爷爷和奶奶搬过来一起住，但爷爷和奶奶都说，家里的地还要人来照应，到了镇上来回不方便，所以一直不愿意来，但是他们的那座茅屋却只能空在那个地方，再也没有人居住了。
三十年的岁月，三十年的变迁，随着经济的发展，我想，爷爷和奶奶的老房子，也会渐渐的成为历史，再也不会出现，但那个岁月的经历，会永远的留在他们的记忆中。
