Beloved father:
It’s a long time no contacting with you since last e-mail. And I miss you so much. Recently I luckily turn to the third officer working on board MV Blue Whale,which is a container ship. I intend to introduce you what Ido on this big vessel in this letter.
I am the third officer working in the deck department. As you know, the third officer is responsible to the master for the proper performance of his assigned bridge watchstanding and navigational duties.
On board, my first daily work is wathckeeping from 8 to 12 and from 20 to 24. my second daily work is in charge of the maintance of the fire-fighting equipment and life-saving equipment. The third , I am also responsible for fire and boat drills, I have to design a muster list and make crew to know the best escape route clearly. Additionally, there are also some simple things I have to do in daily work. For example, I have to assist the Chief Officer in supervising cargo handling operation 、to measure the draft at the discretion of the Chief Officer or the Master、to assist the Master on the bridge with anchoring and mooring and unmooring operation is underway and so on.
In the end, I strongly believed that you must be very familiar with my special work through what I said. And I hope you can stand my back and make me stronger. We will have a reunion soon.

古青色的石板上爬满朵朵青苔，幽幽地散发出些许凉意。偶有一抹阳光射入，迸碎了一地的苍凉。零碎的阶石里，有我走过的足迹;层层落叶里，写满了我的成长。
“摇啊摇，摇啊摇，摇到外婆桥……”当当我埋头奋笔疾书之时，一句歌谣飘入耳边。仅仅一句，就勾起了我的记忆，顿时，眼眶蒙上了一层温热的.水雾……
“外婆，这吹衣服的棒子好重哦!”我嘟起嘴巴，对外婆埋怨道，“臭外婆，我不想拿。”外婆听罢，慈爱的对我说：“乖，外婆需要你帮忙啊!”说完便溺爱地揉了一下我的头发。我听了外婆的话，便十分得意——我现在不是小屁孩了，可以帮外婆做事了!
外婆粗糙的大手包裹着我小小的手，走向洗衣河。正在洗衣河的大娘看见我帮外婆拿东西，便夸外婆：“哎呦，阿金啊，你外孙女好乖啊!阿金，有福气哦!”我听了，就在心里偷乐。外婆看透了我的心思，轻轻的拍了我的头，笑着说：“这有什么乐呵的?要在管理好自己的事的基础上再帮住别人，这样才是最棒的!”我似懂非懂地点了点头。
别看外婆对我十分溺爱，其实，我做错了事，她也会惩罚我。
那个夏天，狗蛋他家的西瓜熟了，我的心就痒痒了，便决定去偷西瓜。
我偷偷摸摸地爬进西瓜地，左瞧右瞧，见旁边没人，便敲了敲西瓜，便抱起一个最好的拔腿就跑。今天的运气格外的好啊!
我抱着西瓜跑回家里，刚进门我就叫外婆，让她来吃西瓜。我以为外婆见了会表扬我，没想到，她一见到这个西瓜，便铁青着脸说：“西瓜哪来的?”“在狗蛋他家……在狗蛋他家玩，狗蛋送的!”我慌张地回答。“是么?狗蛋送的?我得去问问看!”外婆起身，佯装要出去，我连忙说：“别!是…是…是我偷来的。”“你说出来就好，走，去给狗蛋他家长道歉。”
到了狗蛋家，我向他们道了歉，而他的爸爸也没说我，还说要把那个西瓜送给我!“不行，她犯了错误，不能把西瓜给她。得让她知道犯错了就要受到惩罚。”外婆厉声道。“那，那就让她帮我守西瓜地吧。”“好。”我接受了任务，我并不怪外婆，因为，我明白我错了!
就那样，我为狗蛋他爸守了一个星期的地。外婆对我说：“做人要诚实，不能撒谎，不能偷东西，而且知错就改才是好孩子。英子，你要永远记住我说的话!”是的，我会永远记住的。
和外婆在一起的日子是短暂的，我六岁那年，妈妈把我接走了。那天，我和外婆都哭了，我舍不得外婆啊!可是，又有什么办法呢?
分开以后，只有在节假日才能回去看外婆，现在来了离外婆很远的地方，我们见得更少了。
外婆，我想你……
“嘀——”一声汽车鸣笛声把我唤醒，摸摸我的脸，好湿啊。
看向窗外，闪烁的霓虹灯吞吐着城市的繁华，灯红酒绿，车如流水，喧嚣压抑，全然没有外婆那个村子的淳朴及安静……
放下手中的笔，盯着本子看，渐渐地出现了幻觉，我好像看到了外婆，看着看着，我趴在书桌上睡着了。
梦好甜哦——我回到了当初和外婆在一起的日子。

这几个人真是鬼鬼祟祟，拿着一大包行李。共同密切地围在一起商量着什么，我们立刻隐藏在草坪里。怕把我们谋了，时间不多我们赶快去报告爷爷。虚惊一场原来是打工的`。这下我可把爷爷交代我的事给忘了，后来只能哑口无言。 我的一个大军也走了，只剩下我一个人了。
我只能求助徐爷爷让打电话，爷爷真是见不救，竟然不肯。就跟爷爷就做一笔交易，静坐半个小时，不能笑、不能动、不能讲话。真够麻烦的了!我挺起身子，不驼背。可是时间偏偏要过慢一点，突然一阵“大炮”响起。原来是徐爷爷放屁了。我越想越好笑，便“咯咯咯咯”笑起来。
真倒霉，我在半个小时之内又添加了15分钟。我为自己打抱不平狠心的爷爷又为我加了15分钟。真是要把我气得口吐白沫。我再三恳求，爷爷才慢吞吞地答道：“那么这样好了，你给我去叫小张叔叔好吗?”我打了一个寒蝉，不禁地恐怖起来：“这么无人的学校，要我一个人。”“但是有什么办法呢?”我自言自语。这次跟徐爷爷在一起的时间真难得啊!

我看见过妈妈、姐姐、哥哥、阿姨、同学和朋友哭，但是在我脑海中印象最深刻的是外婆的一次眼泪。
记得我和哥哥小时候都是外婆带大的，长大后去外婆家的次数却少之又少了。现在读书了我们一年中最多也只会去三四次，就这样我们和外婆的关系渐渐疏远了。外婆独自一人在家也很冷清，但外婆对我们的好却从未改变。有一次我们的到来使外婆异常兴奋，让我印象特别深刻。
那一次我们一家人都去看望外婆，但没过多久，哥哥就问：“什么时候回去啊？”妈妈说：“你们暂时不能回去，那么长时间不来，要在这里陪外婆歇两晚，我和你爸爸吃完午饭就回去，后天中午舅舅就会来接你们的。”哥哥本想争辩，但还是把话咽了下去。
时间过得可真快，两天转眼间就到了。在离开外婆的前一个晚上，外婆对我说了许多令人心酸的话，让我久久不能忘怀，最后还说了一句：“快睡吧，明天就要走了，在这两天中我非常高兴你们能留下来陪我，让我特别开心。”说完后，当我准备入睡时，却感觉到了一滴冰凉的泪水落到了我脸上。这一刻我知道：外婆哭了，这滴眼泪代表了外婆开心又不舍的心情。
