It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.

事故一，那是我7岁的时候，也是一个欢乐的圣诞节。那个年纪，我早就知道世上没有圣诞老人的存在，但脸上还是抹过一阵“诡秘”的笑。——“咚”我打开房门，把自己关进了小房间。找出一只我认为非常big的袜子，然而贴着房门大喊：“圣诞老人，圣诞老人，我希望有一只新的铅笔盒，一对新的发夹，你听见了吗？”“听见了，别喊了，把袜子挂在床头吧！”直到在厨房里的妈妈用不满又无可奈何的语气答应我，我才算罢休。
事故二，我们家一向都是“自由开放”的，所用的书、衣服随意摆放。家庭卫生向来都是一月一大扫——没办法，“工作”忙啊。一天，老妈接到了一个“突如其来”的电话——她的高中好朋友今天下午要到我家做客。Oh，God！家中这么乱，如何待客！“打扫房间！”老妈发出了“急急如律令”。于是，一家三口全副武装，你扫地，我擦桌，你放书，我摆花，安排有序，井井有条。不过——“喂，老妈，这本书应该放在书柜里还是桌子上？”“还有，还有，这把扫帚好像不能扫地了耶！”这样的“音乐声”也是此起彼伏。两个小时后，我们终于完成了这项艰难的任务，大家精疲力竭地躺在了沙发上。……这样的事遇到过几次以后，妈妈受到了教训，现在是一日一小扫，一周一大扫，咱家可算是干净整洁啦。
故事三：10岁生日那天，天公不作美，又是下暴雨又是停电，母亲又要值班。家中少了往常的欢乐和愉快。父亲为了让我高兴，冒着大雨为我买了一只大蛋糕，故作轻松地说：“孩子，cake来了，一会儿再给你炒几个小菜。”说罢，走进了厨房。我偷偷地从厨房门的缝隙张望，看到了父亲手持菜勺，不断摆动的\'背影。浓重的油烟味呛得他直咳嗽。几阵冷风从窗外钻了进来，父亲缩了缩脖子，又继续用他布满老茧的双手烹制菜肴。“菜好啦！”父亲做了个调皮的手势逗我乐，我的脸上挂着含泪的笑。
想起这些，我的眼眶也是湿湿的。看看窗外，夜已深，无尽的黑色中亮着一盏盏等待亲人归来的灯。我坚信，他们终会等到自己的那一份喜悦，因为温馨与欢乐永远是家恒古不变的主题！

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
