A Tale of Two Cities
As everyone around me know that I am a movie fun ,especially English movies . I see films at least once a week , l love movies ,so I choose this course . every Saturday I saw English movies at class with my roommates ,which took great happiness to me . some films excited me and some moved me .the film 《A Tale of Two Cities》is one of films I loved ,.Before I saw it ,I have heard that it was a tale about one replaced the other to die . I did not know the reason and was full of curiosity about plot , two weeks ago ,I finally watched it and it gave me deep impression . therefore ,I want to talk about it .
The story is set in London and Paris at the time of the great French Revolution. It shows the causes of revolution and its effects on people's day-to-day lives. Before the revolution, the King and the aristocracy treated their people cruelly in France. The common people were extremely poor and miserable. The crops in the fields were poor as if even the land shared the misery of the people. And there were so heavy taxes that all the villagers had nothing to hand over at last. On the other hand, the aristocracy made their will as the law by using money and gold. There were no justice, no equality and no fairness. Just as what happened to Dr Manette, he wrote to the Minister to show the crime what Marquis Evremonde had done, resulting in himself being arrested and sent to the prison Bastille without any reason.
Then this situation of darkness needed to be changed. As people such as the Defarges prepared and arranged, at length the Revolution came to break out. When the Bastille was captured and the King as well as many other aristocrats was tried and put to death, things didn't go on as what they had been expected. The situation stayed the same, or even worse. The prisoners from the Bastille were set free while more prisons were filled with people who had done no wrong. People who once lived on the bottom of society charge world now and their heart had been full of evil and enmity. The only thing they wanted to do was to retaliate. And these so-called "patriots" would like to see more and more innocent prisoners going to the guillotine and that's their joy. In everything they did were merciless, for they had been hardened in the fires of suffering and the touch of pity could make no mark on them.
Equality and fairness was what people seek, which led to the French Revolution. As a consequence, neither equality nor fairness was got after the revolution.
However ,the film moved me most is not revolution .nor do equality and fairness but is love, including the love between father and daughter, the love between husband and wife, the love among friends and so on. In short, only if you have love in your heart, the life is meaningful. At the same time, the revenge will run away with you, freedom and happiness will be around you. I never expected that Sydney Carton insteading another person to die is for love, which is the tragedy of the love history. I was heavyhearted when hearing what Sydney Carton said before death and burst into tears finally. Sydney Carton never said “I love you” to the girl ,but he use action to prove his love, he can do everything for the girl ,even to die , which moved all audiences ,including me .

一天下午，爸爸妈妈全出去了，只留下小姑娘玛莎独自待在家里。玛莎决定爬到阁楼上去，看看能不能找到好玩的。
阁楼里堆满了东西。玛莎一眼就看到，那里有一个黑色的木箱。玛莎记得妈妈说过，木箱是沃尔特叔叔从意大利寄来的。
箱子上锁着一把大锁。玛莎跑下楼，把家里专门放钥匙的小篮子提了上来。一把钥匙一把钥匙地试。
终于，玛莎用一把形状古怪的钥匙打开了木箱上的大锁。木箱盖子自动弹开了，从箱子里面，竟然钻出来三个人。
“你们是谁?”玛莎吃惊地问。“我们是意大利强盗!”“我们可怕又凶狠!”三个强盗说。
一个强盗立刻掏出匕首，对着玛莎：“待着别动，不然你就要流满身了!”另一个说：“我们要抢劫啦!”“不过别害怕，我们不会伤害女孩子的!”最后一个说。
接着，他们轻手轻脚跑下楼去了，玛莎吓得浑身发抖，差点大喊救命。
很快，三个强盗抱着东西上楼来了。强盗们把抢来的物品放在地上，开始吃馅饼。玛莎害怕极了，他不知道该怎么办才好。
恰好这时楼下门铃响了。是邮递员送信来了。邮递员把信放进信箱，转身就走了。于是，玛莎立刻想到了一个主意。
“是警察来了!”她故意慌张地对强盗们说，“有一百多个呢!他们是来抓你们的!他们还带来了一门大炮!”
强盗们吓坏了，嚎啕大哭起来：“我们要啦!”玛莎看着这些愚蠢的强盗，差点笑出声来。
“你们别哭了，我来救你们了!”玛莎说，“你们快回到箱子里面去，这样警察就找不到你们了。”
强盗们一听，赶紧听话的爬进箱子里。“哎呀，挤我了，怎么箱子一下变小了呀?”强盗们痛苦地喊着。
“不是箱子变小了，是你们吃了太多的馅饼!”玛莎用力盖上木箱的盖子，然后把大锁锁上了。

李老师上课可很生动。记得在上第二十四课《香港，璀璨的明珠》这一课的时候，她说：“现在，我是导游，你们就是游客。”香港到了，李老师又说：“现在请游客们自由地去看看香港的各个地方，再回来讨论讨论。”……那一堂课，同学们都听得很入神，仿佛身临其境一般。老师提问的时候都很活跃，把气氛推到了最高潮。
李老师也很尽责。记得上学期快要集体舞比赛的'时候，李老师快要生宝宝了，但她仍然挺着大肚子带同学们练跳舞。在她的努力下，我们班在集体舞比赛中得了第一名。
李老师还很细心。有一天早上，妈妈拿来了羽绒衣和加绒的裤子给我穿，对我说：“今天天气很冷，要多穿点。”我惊讶地说：“不会呀，昨天还很热呢。”妈妈见我不相信，便对我说：“昨天晚上李老师发短信来了，说今天的气温只有三四度。多亏李老师提醒我，要不然我都不知道今天的气温。”李老师还每个星期都发短信提醒我们剪指甲，让我们养成一个良好的卫生习惯。
李老师不仅像一位班主任严格要求我们，更像一位妈妈时刻关心我们，疼爱我们。

周末，我写完作业准备到开电视机看电视，可您去说：学习要靠自己努力，要控制好自己，种瓜得瓜，种豆得豆。我听了后，怎么也不敢看电视了。就拿出语文书来读。您又说：只读语文不读英语啊！读个句子来听听呗。我咿咿呀呀读得乱七八糟。爸爸就说：英语不但要会写，还要会读。我不耐烦地叫姐姐教我读，就因为不集中精力，被姐姐批评了一顿。唉！好烦呐！
原本我以为下午就能好好出去玩，但有被爸爸阻止了。就说：看你那电子琴灰尘仆仆的，如果你不学，我可要把它当废品卖了呀！听了您的话，我紧锁眉头、心事重重地学起来，就因为有些音调看不懂，所以学起来有些吃力。别人的周末都是自由、快乐的，而我的周末去沉积在这些书本中。
爸爸，您是我人生当中一盏指路明灯，但有时候您过于严格，使我压力很大，希望您周末让我放松一下吧！我已经长大，请不要把我关在书本中，让我失去自由。

今天看到的《天堂的孩子》还是我第一次看伊朗电影。我觉得这部电影算得上是咱看过的电影里边最有意思的一部了。影片以一个贫困的`伊朗家庭里的两兄妹作为主人公，真实的再现了他们穷苦的生活，片中哥哥万阿里不小心弄丢了妹妹莎拉仅有的一双本就破烂不堪的鞋子，为了不让父母发现，他想尽办法安慰妹妹，并在这中间发生的一些事情……
我觉得这部电影拍摄的特别真实，几乎原生态的再现了伊朗平民家庭困窘的生活。生活是最好的老师，在这样一个贫穷的家里长大，两个小主人公从小就学会了帮助家人做家务，一双对他们来说异常珍贵的鞋子不幸丢失，妹妹再没有可以穿的鞋子去学校，只好整天穿着哥哥的球鞋去学校，下了学后再早早的跑回来和哥哥换鞋，这样哥哥才能去上学，每次都是急急忙忙的跑步的身影，每次都是长长的巷道，哥哥在那里焦急的等着妹妹来和他换鞋，然后再快速的跑着去学校……即便是这样的困窘，但他们却一直保持着乐观的心态，嘴角时刻保持着笑容。不得不提的一点是：两个主人公的面部表情实在是丰富，将所要表达的内容完全的表现在脸上。片中还有一些邻居互相帮助的场面，感觉还是很温馨的。
就这样兄妹俩每天匆匆的换鞋，不停地跑来跑去……最后，一次机会出现在了他们面前：获得赛跑比赛的季军就可以得到一双球鞋作为奖励，以前不停地跑步在这个时候总算派的上用场了，但是在最后戏剧性的是：一直盼望跑第三名的万阿里竟然得了个冠军……终点，他只说了句为什么不是冠军……
