I think you will be my best teacher to help me improving my English Level. So I apologize again for my not attend your class. 我兴高采烈地带着爸爸、妈妈来到吃砂锅米线的地方。这里的柜台就是三张学生桌，卖砂锅米线的是一个五十岁左右的奶奶，还有她的助手，那是她的女儿。这里吃米线的人真多，老奶奶和她的女儿正忙得不亦乐乎。我走到老奶奶身边，像一个东道主，说：“奶奶，来两碗砂锅米线吧。”我按我们事先商量好的计划告诉她。但我转念一想，爸爸、妈妈，他们肯定饿了，我对他们说：“还是一人一碗吧，”妈妈笑了笑，表示赞同。我又转过身来对老奶奶说：“三碗吧！”老奶奶微笑着点了点头。
我找了一张桌子，让爸爸妈妈坐下等着。我呢，就去看老奶奶煮砂锅米线。我站在柜台旁边，仔细地观看老奶奶煮米线，发现老奶奶只煮了两碗。我想，老奶奶可能等会儿还要煮一碗。果然不出我所料，老奶奶又放了一个碗在灶上，我这下放心多了。我想，这肯定是我们的那三碗砂锅米线。于是，我就回到坐位上陪妈妈爸爸聊天。
不久，老奶奶给我们端来了两碗，当我们等第三碗时，可那一碗却端给了另一位坐在我们旁边桌上的大姐姐。妈妈说：“煮着的还有，可能那位大姐姐有急事，等会老奶奶会给我们端来的。”于是我们就吃了起来。
不一会，这两碗就要吃完了，我这下怀疑老奶奶只听见我最先说的话，没有听见后来我说的话。我便去问老奶奶：“我们还有一碗米线呢？”老奶奶笑着说：“哦，我忘了，请等一会，我马上给你们煮来。”
不一会儿，老奶奶把米线端了上来。对我们说：“真对不起，让你们久等了。”“没关系。”妈妈应声说道。我突然发现，老奶奶这次端上来的这碗砂锅米线要比开始的那两碗多一些，我想这可能是老奶奶无声的“道歉”吧。
我望望天空，天空更加的湛蓝，上面的星星十分亮丽，有一颗星星亮得特别灿烂，我觉得老奶奶的心比这颗星还要亮。

i am afraid that you will think me unpardonably negligent in not having answered your letter dated 7, december sooner, but when i have told you the reason, i trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. when your letter arrived, i was just in hong kong. as my family could not forward it to me during my absence, it has been, therefore, lying on my desk until the moment when i took it up. now the first thing i have to hasten to do is to write to you these few lines to express my deep regret.
i enjoyed many pleasant sights during my trip. i shall be pleased to give you an account to of them when i see you next.
