these young people are wrong. in my opinion every student should have a knowledge of housework. after all, they will have a family of their own, and they should do their part in keeping a good home. boys should also learn to do housework, for what will they do if they remain single? though not all boys remain single, yet they will be very helpful in the family if they know some housework. anyhow they will not lose anything, but, on the contrary, they will gain something useful.
for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true. however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

我们的生活，有过许许多多的“第一次”。我最难忘的第一次是做饭。
那是一个星期天的中午，我躺在床上看书，突然一阵饥饿袭来。我大叫了一声：“老妈，做饭了!”可是没有回应，冲进老妈的房间，这时才恍然大悟——今天是星期天老爸老妈要加班。我默默的坐在沙发上，摸着“咕路咕路”叫的肚子，于是下定决心自己做一顿饭，我走进厨房，看着各种各样的厨具和菜，不禁让我眼花缭乱。
听奶奶说：“蒸米饭时盛一碗米，要倒两碗水。”我就按奶奶说的，我把米淘干净后和水一起倒在电饭锅里蒸;然后把要炒的菜洗干净，该做第一道菜“土豆丝”，首先把土豆洗干净，削皮后切成细丝，开火放锅，倒油后让它把油烧热，把葱洗好，切好放入，油温正好的锅中，由于我的疏忽，没有把上面的水甩干净，油星溅了出来，有几滴溅到我的手上，“疼痛难当”是我最想表达的，我“啊”的一声大叫起来，可是饥饿盖住了疼痛，我将洗净的土豆倒入锅中，这次我吸取教训，用漏斗把水甩干净，才倒进去的，放入作料翻炒了几下，焖了几分钟，美味的土豆丝便出锅了，我又把妈妈上午买的豆花放下锅，我回想妈妈弄豆花的样子，我也学着她，先把豆花放下锅，再放盐，味精，加酱，加醋，再煮一会就好了，我把豆花添到碗里，正准备端上桌子的时候一部小心把豆花打翻在地上，撒了一地，碗也碎了，我真是太大意了，我只好再做一个菜了，我这个菜炒得是番茄炒蛋了。我向锅里倒了一些油，然后鸡蛋迫不及待的滑了下去，成了炒蛋了，差不多后又倒入切好的番茄。
使劲的炒，终于皇天不负有心人，我成功做好了，虽然颜色不怎么样，而且味道不怎么样。但是我还是努力了滴，经过一个小时的时间，我总算弄好了两个菜，我把这两个菜端到桌子上，我打开电饭锅，一股热气扑面而来，我闪了一会就拿出一个碗成了一碗饭，我开始吃了，饭还是生不生熟不熟的，我只好将就将就了。
我通过这第一次做饭的经历，明白了看似简单的事做起来也是挺不容易的，也明白爸爸、妈妈他们的辛苦!

在我8岁那年，我就想学做饭了，因为我想为每次做晚饭就汗流满面的妈妈出一份力。
我开始跟妈妈学做饭了，妈妈先让我自己去尝试最简单的扬州炒饭。她已经帮我准备好了材料，我开始做饭了。我先把油倒进了锅里，待油热后，把饭倒进了锅里放了一会儿，炒了几下，就准备出锅了。可是我突然发现，鸡蛋忘记放进去了，我着急了，心想：这次饭肯定做不好了，于是，我犹豫了一会，把鸡蛋放进去，可是为时已晚，出锅时，已经变成了“糊州炒饭”，于是，我喊妈妈：“怎么办，饭炒糊了”！妈妈无奈的说：“那只好给我们家小狗吃了。”
我已经有一些想放弃了。不过，妈妈鼓励的我说：“没关系”我学做饭时也是经常这样，“继续加油！不要放弃哦”妈妈又在我面前演示了扬州炒饭怎么做，我铭记在心，又照着妈妈的样子开始做了一遍，这次虽然做有些奇怪，不过总算做出了一份可以吃的扬州炒饭，于是我拿过去给妈妈尝，妈妈说：“你做得不错，要继续加油啊！”
我坚持下来接着妈妈又开始教我第二道菜，青椒肉丝。她也是给我准备材料，让我自己去尝试，这次我吸取了上次的教训，没有忘记任何食材，不过，我不小心糊了一点。于是，我高兴的对妈妈说：“这次我做的不错，就是炒糊了一点点。”妈妈表扬我说：“真不错，你变得越来越能干了！”我说：“没什么，就是吸取了上次的经验而已”。我心想：“原来只有坚持就会成功，要是我放弃了那就就学不好了。
今天我学会了这一门本领，做饭，对我将来有很大的帮助，并且，有一次我们家的饭是我做的呢！
