One day, Paula and Richard decided to make a kite.
First they went out and found two straight sticks of the same length. They brought them back home and tied them with a piece of string into the shape of a cross. Then they took some string and used it to tie the four ends of the sticks together. Then, they spread some brightly coloured paper over the frame and glued it around the string.They stuck a tail made of paper to one of the corners, and tied a long string to the centre of the kite.
On the next windy day, they took the kite to a hill near their house and flew it.

for what i said above, we can find some eamples of our fellow-students studying abroad. all young men do housework as girls do. someone would argue that we can employ servants. this is true.however, what shall we do if the servant leaves us and all things are left to ourselves? we just cannot leave our clothes as they are and let worms and ants eat them up. and what can we do it we go and study in a foreign country where servants are out our means to employ? we must work for ourselves. why not start to learn to do housework now or else it will be too late? everyone should learn to do housework. what do you think about my idea, boys and girls?

还没到家，雨就开始淅淅沥沥地下了起来。
一串串细细密密的雨点，毫不留情地将我的刘海打湿，分成了几缕，耷拉在光洁的额头上，挡住了我原本模糊的视线，它，太长了。
坐在椅子上，让外婆给我剪刘海。我看着镜中的自己，被雨水打湿的模样有趣极了。外婆用那双满是皱纹的手轻轻地抚摸着我的头发，镜中，最显眼的还是那双手，那双皮肤松弛的手。
我静静地坐在椅子上，看着镜中自己的刘海一点点变短，外婆手上握着的红色剪刀不停地发出“咔嚓”的声音。我一边任由外婆剪着刘海，一边休息着，剪下的`不只是头发，也将我那团“理还乱”的思绪剪掉了，忙碌中的小憩，让我重新充满了精神。
窗外，雨一直下着。
那把红色的剪刀不厌其烦地劳作着，握着它的那双手渐渐慢了下来。我的视线随着剪刀的移动而移动着，忽然，我发现那把年代久远的剪刀上有个小小的缺口，我还没有来得及喊“停”，剪刀，已剪下；头发，已落下。镜中自己刘海上的那个突兀的小缺口，让我怒火中烧：“外婆，你看你在干嘛啊？怎么剪出了一个缺口？丑了！”拿着剪刀的手渐渐放下，外婆手背上的皮肤收紧，凑在了一块儿，上面的管隐隐可见。说出这句话的我毫不顾及外婆的感受，冲出了卧室。
窗外，雨还在下着，却无法平息我心中的怒火。
过了许久，我突然发现自己的话太重了，毅然决然地返回卧室。在那个陈旧的门框边，在那个转角，我看见外婆独自站在镜子前，双手轻轻地抚摸着剪刀。看着外婆的背影，我回忆起外婆用它一次次给我剪下乌黑的刘海。剪下来的湿发粘住了剪刀的边沿，外婆轻轻地抹下短短的发茬。我突然发现外婆的背已经佝偻，走到镜子前，瞧着刘海上的那个缺口，我假装不在意地微笑着说：“嗯，现在看来这刘海还不错啦，其实吧，挺有个性的。外婆，谢谢咯！”外婆缓缓走出卧室，在转角处，我无意间发现了她脸上的那一丝笑容，仿佛融化了窗外不曾停歇过的雨。
转过头，我摸了摸刚剪的刘海，望望窗外，嗯，天，晴了。
