她说话的语速很快，不亚于卖凉茶的，上课也是如此，她的.一节课的容量是其他老师的几倍，黑板被她写的几乎没有缝隙，我们总是看着白色从黑板上的一角像水波扩散那样渐渐荡漾到另一角，她不但教我们知识，而且更注重教我们学习的方法，并不时地为我们讲述西方的文化习俗，还教我们英文歌曲，板的课本被她激活，寓教于乐中。为了让我们快速巧记单词，她还编了英文三字经，例如：吃着rice、加点ice、口感nice。
每个学生她都视如以已，每个学生的表现都在她的记录之下，那个厚厚的备课本上挤满了无数个名字，每到中午午休，她都要督促作业不合格的同学，经常吃不上中午饭，这大概也是她纤瘦的原因吧。
记得有一次，我因病几天没有上学，我上学的第一天，就被栗老师请到了办公室补课。她坐在我旁边，一手指着书中的要点，另一只却在不停比划着，口中还说道：注意介词后用动词doing！，她几乎是重新上了一遍英语课，还将课本中的内容又进行了些许的扩展，最后又将我这几天的作业批改完了，并把错题又为我一一讲解，午休和放学时间都被我消耗了。为了提高我的英语水平，她不厌其烦，一遍一遍地帮我修改，整理思路，我的英语成绩在她的关注下，已由弱项变为强项。她还不时叮嘱我只有强身健体，才能保障学习。
遗憾的是，现在栗老师不教我们了，但每当我在英语学习中遇到困难时，我眼前总会浮现出栗老师的身影，我会坚持下去，把英语学好，学精，不让她的付出东流，更不能让我尊敬的人失望。
