开篇有人物介绍，本书围绕4个人物，号称大姐头，身手敏捷，有点爱财的赛琳娜，头脑像单细胞动物，乐观，热的布布路，小名豆丁小子，酷酷的帝奇。雷顿，还有就是戴着狐狸面具，有点神秘，圆滑的饺子参加怪物大师地考试。开篇以神秘又偏远的村庄“影王村”突然爆发了诡异的绿疹怪病，绿色脓包像蛇一样勒紧染病者的脖颈，“摩尔本十字基地”竟然破天荒散发了海量怪物大师入学申请，基地消失多年的送信蛇突然出现在天真又胆大的布布路面前，巨蛇嘴里吐出的金箔隐藏着一个巨大的秘密……，为了找出真相布布路从就此踏上了奇妙的冒险旅途。经过怪物果实争夺战，各自孵化自己的怪物，布布路的怪物有点难看，考官都叫不出名字，最后只有叫四不像，而且他们的勾通方式也很奇怪，四不我像很能吃哦，它和布布路也真是绝配。帝奇共得到了32个怪物果实，但他的孵化过程，让你笑得肚子痛。
