有一次，我和爸爸妈妈一起去浙江旅游，我们一到浙江，放好行李之后就坐公交车去玩。在公交车上我看到一位老奶奶没有座位，正准备给老奶奶让座，这时，有个比我小一点，大约七八岁的男孩走到老奶奶身边，把老奶奶扶到他的座位上，那个老奶奶对小男孩说：“好孩子，谢谢你！”
这是一件简单到不能再简单的事情，但我不明白的是，为什么一个孩子都会做的事情，这么的成年人，在车上都会熟视无睹？
这个问题体现在这一方面，比如说走在大街上，许多人们仿佛没有看见前方不远的垃圾桶，为了方便，将垃圾随手一扔。
不久前，曾看到这样一则报道，说的是新加坡，新加坡是一个通用英语的国家，这个国家的公共场所的各种标语大多是用英语书写。但其中的一些文明礼貌的标语，如“不准随地吐痰”、“禁止吸烟”、“不准进入草坪”等却用中文书写。为什么呢？人家回答：“因为有这些不文明行为的大多数是中国大陆的游客。”
这人看了十分难过，我想，为何其它国家的人们能够做到的'事情，可我们却不能呢？这是因为，即便再三强调要讲文明，宣传文明的重要性，人们都没有真正地去把它记在心中，因为我们没有从小去养成这些习惯，没有从自身做起。
请想一想，如果我们每一个人都不去乱扔垃圾，地面干净整洁，就不会有人去乱扔垃圾，破坏环境。
文明其实是由细节构成的，反思我们的所作所为可见文明离我们还有一段距离。
在校园中，楼梯上总能见到与我们美丽的校园极不和谐的纸屑，随处丢弃的饮料瓶，甚至有的同学认为：反正有值日的同学和清洁工打扫，扔了又何妨。
很多人把文化知识的学习放在首位，而常常忽略了社会公德的培养，文明习惯的养成，而这恰恰从本质上展现出一个人的思想品质。良好的行为习惯，是保证我们顺利学习的前提，也是树立健康人格的基础。现在，我们正处于成长的关键时期，好的文明习惯如今不养成，以后很难改变，因为习惯已成自然。
让我们把文明礼仪放在心上，时时刻刻与文明交谈，用它来约束自己的言行，千万不要把文明行为习惯看作小事。让我们从现在做起，从自己做起，从点点滴滴的小事做起，养成良好的文明习惯，做文明学生。
