在一个风和日丽的下午，一只小刺猬出来觅食，但它已经找了半天了，也没有找到一丁点吃的，自己却饿得前心贴后心，饥肠辘辘了。突然，它偶然一抬头，发现前面山坡上有一颗苹果树，树上结满了又大又红的苹果，它兴奋的把饿都给忘了，撒开脚丫子就往苹果树的方向跑，不一会儿便跑上了山坡。
小刺猬站在苹果树下，仰视着这棵高大、挺直的苹果树，想自己这么短小，怎么才能摘着苹果呢？它想了一会儿，觉得爬树这个方法不错，便双手抱住树干，使出吃奶的劲儿往上爬。可不一会儿它就滑下来了。它没有泄气，继续往上爬，直到没有了一丝力气又从树干上滑了下来。它感觉又累又饿，先找片草地休息一会吧，找到后就一屁股坐在草地上睡着了。
迷迷糊糊中，小刺猬突然被一声炸雷般的响声惊醒了。它抬头一看，发现原来是一只灰色的山羊。呵呵，应该像我一样想吃苹果了。只见那只灰山羊又低着头，猛地往树干上撞去，只听见“彭”一声巨响，几个苹果掉了下来。不过由于是在山坡上，苹果叽里咕噜的便滚的无影无踪了。灰山羊很不甘心，继续撞树，不过还是没有吃到苹果，反而把自己累的气喘吁吁，站都站不稳了。
小刺猬眉头一皱，计上心来。它跑过去对灰山羊说：“来，我们俩儿合作，你来撞树，把苹果撞下来，我用刺刺住苹果，这样我们俩都能吃上苹果了”。山羊点点头同意了小刺猬的提议。
山羊又开始撞树了，小刺猬在树下展开身上的刺迎接掉下来的苹果，不一会就接到了十几个苹果，它们两个平分了，吃了一顿苹果大餐，心里美极了。
不是吗？生活中因团结协作而成功的事情难道还少吗？
