文明是一种美德，做为一名三年级的小学生，更应该好好学习。说话时，应该多使用文明用语，比如：“谢谢您”、“您好”、“打扰了”、“辛苦您了”、“请原谅’’、“没关系”、“对不起”等 。
早晨上学时，我经常看到这样的一幕：许多小学生因为时间紧，早饭常常没有来得及吃，就在学校大门口吃 ，吃完后，垃圾随手一丢，这样不仅破坏了我们学校周围的环境，而且也给环卫工人带来了麻烦，再看一看，垃圾桶就在不远处，举手之劳；还有的同学习惯吃口香糖，但是吃到最后随口一吐，没有人想一想，口香糖粘在路上多么的不好清洁，给卫生打扫带来多大的麻烦。
星期天，我经常到凤凰广场或有公共健身器材的地方去呼吸新鲜的空气，享受大自然的清香，在那里我经常看到小同学不爱惜公共器材，用力的使器材发生碰撞，好像只有这样才能感到自己的能耐有多大，但不知我们的器材受到了伤害。
我们喜欢绿色的草地，喜欢美丽的花朵，可是，“请勿践踏”、 “脚下留情”、“小花也会疼”等小牌子上的字你看见了吗？因为自己的高兴，自己的放松，你破坏了环境，践踏了草地，采走了美丽的花朵，那留给别人的是什么呢？美丽的景色是留给大家的，请同学们管住自己的手和脚，留下让我们共同欣赏的景色吧！
我曾经读过这样一个故事：有一位退伍军人到一家公司面试，他见前面还有两个人就轮到自己，心里有些慌张，突然，他看见了墙角处有一块香蕉皮，就起身去把它捡起丢进垃圾桶，面试到他了，他磕磕巴巴，回答不够流利。他感到没有录取的.可能了，结果公司通知他被录取了，他有些疑惑，就问了领导，领导笑着说:“因为只有你捡了香蕉皮，所以也只有你能维护公司的形象。”看一个文明的举止，改变了这个人的命运。由此件事，使我感到了文明的力量。
虽然我还很小，但我要从小养成文明的举止，从小立志，做一个文明的小市民，尊敬长辈，孝敬父母，团结同学，互相帮助，爱护花草树木、公共设施，不随地吐痰、不乱丢垃圾，以我自己的行动来感化大家，使我们的城市变得更加美好了。
