在雷雨季节里，常会出现强烈的光和声，这就是人们常见的雷电。带有电荷的雷云与地面的突起物接近时，它们之间就发生激烈的`放电。由于雷云电压高电量多，并且放电时间很短，放电电流大，因而雷击电能很大。虽然放电作用时间短，但对建筑群中高耸的建筑物及尖形物、空旷区内的建筑以及特别潮湿的建筑物、屋顶内金属结构的建筑物及露天放置的金属设备等有很大威胁，可能引起倒塌、起火等危险事故。

我的校园非常美丽。
一走进学校大门，首先看到的是我们的教学大楼。教学大楼是四层的，墙壁是橙色的，每扇窗子都亮晶晶的，南墙上镶嵌着我们的校训：诚信 好学 和谐 创新。教学大楼里有许多教室，还有微机室、实验室、图书室、音乐教室、语音室......里面不时传来老师讲课和同学们讨论、发言、朗读、歌唱的声音。
教学大楼南面是宽阔的操场。操场中间铺着人工草坪，四周是塑胶跑道。下课时，同学们就来到操场上活动，有的在人工草坪上踢足球，打篮球，打排球或打沙包，有的在塑胶跑道上跑步。这时的操场成了欢乐的海洋。
教学大楼北面是一个美丽的小花园。小花园里面绿草如茵，还种了许多观赏植物，有紫色叶子的紫叶李、傲雪斗霜的腊梅、春季开放的樱花、春夏秋三季开花的月季......花园里有一条用鹅卵石铺成弯弯曲曲的小路。同学们有时爱到这里散步。
