可以看出他们都十分的紧张，只听见一声枪响，比赛开始了，运动员们都用尽全力去争夺第一，牙买加选手一马当先，成为第一。
到了最后半圈时美国的队员慢慢的追了上来，牙买加运动员自然不甘落后，极速狂奔，第一个冲过了终点，原本鸦雀无声的鸟巢现在一片欢呼，人们挥舞着国旗，拍着巴掌，运动员双臂挥舞，一副胜利者的`姿态。
接着男子5000米跑便开始了，全场的人们欢呼着，这欢呼声对于运动员来说好像是一种力量，使他们变得信心十足，裁判大声说：“预备。”让人们紧张的时刻来到了，人们都屏住了呼吸，全场一片寂静。
“开始”枪声响起来了，运动员们像升空的火箭一般飞速向前冲去，跑完一圈后他们慢慢的降慢了速度，人们也开始加油助威了。

但是体育强国美国的选手竟然出乎意料的追了上来，真是让人觉得不可思议，牙买加选手也显得有些急躁，害怕美国超过她也加快了速度，可是这也无济于事，美国超过了她。
渐渐的拉大了距离，最后一棒了，虽然牙买加选手也在努力追赶，但是前面落下的太多，这种局面无法挽回了，最后美国选手胜出。
选手们激动的拥抱在一起，“同一个世界同一个梦想”各种肤色的队员相聚在五环旗下，让梦想插上翅膀，飞出鸟巢，飞向更广阔的天空。
比赛过后我走出鸟巢，觉得意犹未尽，时间在快乐时总是溜走的那样飞快，可是没有关系，因为这段时光就像烟花一样，虽然只是绽开在那一霎那却给人们留下了永久的美好的回忆。
