It was also the fruit of the peasants'labour."No pains,no gains."What a magnificent/beautiful picture(it was!It seemed as if we were wandering in a splendid/wonderful world.

今天，老师带我们去一睹了石镜小学的风采，果然，不愧是历史悠久的名校。
走进石镜小学，映入眼帘的是雄伟的大门：一块深红色的巨大石碑上，镀着“临安石镜小学”几个镀金大字。向左看，有一排气派的.伸缩门，高大约有1.6米。
走进大门，一眼就能望见一幢高大的教学楼。教学楼中间凸起，两边凹进，造型奇特。教学楼一共有四层，表面贴着粉色瓷砖，一部分窗户是扇形的。第二层的外墙上写着“共创品质石镜，共建和谐校园”几个红色大字。
教学楼左边的围墙上有着各种主题的版块、海报。最引人注目的是镀金的“以石为镜，正身立人”这几个字了。
走进教学楼，向左看，就能一睹教师们的风采。右边是石镜小学曾经的辉煌事迹和各种荣誉奖牌。
穿过长廊，就来到了“润园”——石镜小学的明珠。润园中心是一个不规则的池塘。围绕池塘的是古色古香的太湖石。池子里有许多金鱼：有红的，有黄的，有黑白相间的……大小不同，颜色各异。其中，我最爱的是那条金色的鲤鱼。金色的鳞片在阳光下，闪闪发光，白色的鱼鳍舞动着，嘴边两条须使他显得更帅气，像是一位高傲的王子，在水中舞剑。
池塘的一边，坐落着一座由太湖石堆积成的假山，假山上有着形状大小各不相同的洞，看起来妙趣横生。
假山被郁郁葱葱的植物包围，给静穆的假山添了不少生气。池塘周围有着各式各样的植物，有黄色的腊梅，有花苞像子弹的玉兰树，爱睡懒觉的柳树……那亭亭玉立的茶花更是惹人喜爱，一个个花苞，像一群小姑娘，露出羞涩的笑脸。
当我们还沉浸在美景中，老师却已跨过马路，向我们招手，示意我们回去。
