st summer holiday, I took a trip to Yunnan. It is in the southern part of our country .It is really a very beautiful place grand mountains, clean rivers and kind people. Trees and flowers are seen everywhere. Every year there are lots and lots of visitors.Maybe you have heard about Shi Lin (stone forests. There are all kinds of strange stones. Some of the small stones look like graceful girls; and the big stones look like handsome men. Other stones look like cats, peafowls, double-edged swords, mice,
elephants and so on. Of all the stones, the stone like a beautiful girl in a legend is the most famous .Its name is A Shima.
I also went to Li Jiang. The roads in that city are just like the Eight Diagrams. Any road in the city goes to the center of Li Jiang. A river runs through the whole city. If you go along the river, you'll never get lost. There are many ethnic minority people in Yunnan. They are very cordial. And they all like singing and dancing. We danced with them around the campfire that night. I really had a good time.
I like the elephants and fruits there best. An elephant is even taller than me! I even mounted the elephant, though I was very afraid at first. But the elephant seemed very friendly. I took some photos with it. The fruits there are very fresh and delicious. They are very good for our health.
The trip to Yunnan impressed me GREatly. I will never forget it.

In recent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in our nation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over, it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.
There are a few reasons accounting for my views and I would like to list three of them. One of the examples is that a large number of woods and other plants were replaced by all kinds of accommodation facilities or scenic spots. That definitely breaks the ecological balance of these areas and destroys the natural beauty of the scenic spots. Worse still, more pressure has been placed environment protection in that many tourists left their garbage in the scenic spots. In addition, over-developed tourism will occupy large numbers of farmland and lead to the shortage of the land.
In a word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development. Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering the environment. And we should keep the balance between tourism development and environment protection so that we can achieve the sustainable development between our nation’s economy and the environment.

Last summer holiday, I went to Beijing for a week. The first day when I took off at the capital airport , it gave me the first feeling was cleanand tidy. The people in Beijing were very friendly. T he second day, I visited Beijing city. I went to the WangFujing Ave , I tasted many famous snacksand Beijing Roast Duck, they are very delicious. I also went to the XinDongfang square, it was a very big shopping mall, it took me about half an hour to walk between two doors. The fifth day I went to the Summer Palace, I went boating there. The sixth day, I visited the Great Wall, it’s very terrific, this great architectural complex told us how clever the Chinese people are ! T he last day, I visited the Beijing University ----one of the topest universities of China . There are many famous people were graduated t here.
That’s a happy travel. In the future, I want to visit many countries. This is my dream.

一天下午，妈妈让我去给外公送茶，我看见一个病人正紧紧地握着他的手，千恩万谢地说着什么，脸上的病容已经为微笑所淹没。爷爷的脸上也挂着满意的笑容。等病人走后，我问外公：“您们在说什么呢?”外公悄悄告诉我：“没什么，他家里不富裕，我就没收诊费。”我纳闷的问：“看您乐的都合不上嘴了，原来是没收钱啊!没收钱干吗还那么高兴?”外公用手抚摸着旧办公桌，深情地说：“孩子，您知道做医生最大的满足是什么吗?”我摇摇头。“是看到病人那充满希望的微笑啊!”我点了点头，略有所悟，为他人解除痛苦，给他人带来欢乐，这应该是外公最大的追求吧，也是崇高的医德所在!
夜很深了，我经过外公的房门，看见书桌上依然亮着灯，而外公坐在办公桌前埋头看着厚厚的医学书，我心里涌出一股强烈的崇敬之情。
我暗下决心，外公，您就是我学习的榜样，我一定像您那样，做一个能给他人带来希望和幸福的人。

About the Emerald Hill Road. It’s just like Chinatown. You can take a walk and go shopping here. Walk into the Lstana. It’s the home to the president of Singapore. People can be here five times a year. Here are amazing plants.
Walk into the Singapore River. Its the only one river in the Singapore. People here called it "The River of Lifes".
About the Botanic Gardens and the Merlion Park it maybe a little funny.

Marina Bay Sands
It was called "The most expensive hotel in the world". This hotel spends 4,000,000,000 pounds. It has a swimming pool. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the city for the top of the building. You can even enjoy the city while you are swimming. It is three times the length of the Olympic swimming pool length, is the world's largest outdoor swimming pool.
