Everyone has his own dream. I want to be a good doctor in the future. The reason is that some doctors saved my life after I was badly hurt in a traffic accident. I was deeply impressed by their medical skils and greatly moved by their care for me. From then on, to be a doctor in the future has always been my dream.
Our dreams can’t be realized unless we make all our efforts. Therefore, the first thing I will do is to remember what my dream is. I won’t let it leave my mind, because it will help me to keep trying and fighting for what I want. What’s more, I will do my best to increase my knowledge and improve my abilities to prepare myself for an excellent doctor. Last but not least, I will never give up. 我的'爸爸是一位外科医生，因为医术精湛，工作勤奋努力，所以三十多岁就被提拔为副院长。从此，他的工作量与日俱增，几乎每天都有手术，很多手术都是病人、病人家属一定要求让爸爸做的，放弃休息时间去工作成了平常事。
记得我十岁生日前一天，爸爸对我说：“臻儿，明天是你生日，正好我休息，我去帮你买个蛋糕，咱们晚饭时庆祝一下。”爸爸为我买生日蛋糕，这可是头一回呢！“谢谢爸爸！”我兴奋地说。妈妈走过来问：“要不要买个蛋糕送给你啊？”我得意地笑笑说：“不用了，这次爸爸会买的。”第二天，放学后我兴高采烈地跑回家，从客厅到书房、卧室，找了个遍，爸爸不在。奶奶告诉我，下午三点多时，医院来了个急诊病人，爸爸被叫去了。傍晚，奶奶烧了一桌好菜，我们坐在餐桌旁等待爸爸回来吃晚饭，到六点爸爸还没回来，我有些耐不住了，可想了想还是再等等吧，一直等到七点，我沮丧地摇摇头，哎，爸爸又不能回来吃饭了。他怎么可以这样，昨天说得好好的，说要帮我买蛋糕。现在倒好，蛋糕没吃到，连我的生日晚饭也不回来吃了，这真是最没劲最糟糕的生日。明天他回来我一定要好好说说他。
第二天早晨，爸爸才揉着布满丝的眼睛回来了，我怒气冲冲地迎了上去：“爸爸，你平时不回来吃晚饭，我不介意，昨天是我生日，而且你答应给我买蛋糕的，怎么说不回来就不回来呀！真是太令我失望了。”爸爸说：“对不起了，臻儿。昨天医院来了个生命垂危的病人，我怎么能不管呢？不过现在总算脱离危险了。”他疲倦地笑笑，走进卫生间洗脸刷牙了。看着他疲惫的背影，我也不好再说什么了。
暑假的一天，我因为有事来到医院找爸爸。我跟在爸爸的后面，认识或不认识的病人、家属都热情地跟爸爸打招呼，仿佛熟识的邻居、朋友似的。来到爸爸的办公室，我发现墙壁上挂满了病人家属送的锦旗，“救扶伤”，“妙手回春”……哦，也许每一面锦旗的背后都有一个故事吧，这些爸爸从未给我讲过。看着，看着，我突然有点理解爸爸了，一种从未有过的情感在我内心升腾起来，我想大声地告诉每一个人，我的爸爸是个医生！
