“涵？”闻声我抬头望去，是我从小玩到大的好朋友筱蔷，“你干嘛呢，快走吧，天都黑了。”“我车链坏了，走不了了。”我有些沮丧的看了看旁边的自行车。她来到我旁边，俯下身子看了看说“是链条掉下来了，我来帮你修。”不等我说话，她已经将肩上的'书包丢在一旁，挽起袖子放倒了我的自行车。
筱蔷端详了一会儿，像刚开始我那样，找来一根树枝戳弄着，可是这链子就像是蜿蜒的长蛇，一点也不听话，前面套上齿轮后面又掉下来，筱蔷折腾了好一会儿，还是老样子。蹲在一旁的我这才明白，原来她也不会修自行车。望着旁边头也不抬，努力地用树枝戳着自行车的身影，我有些失望地说：“这么晚了，别耽误你回家，你先走吧。”“那你怎么办？现在还有公交车吗？你总不能走回家啊！我再试试！”筱蔷突然像下定决心似的，将棍子一扔，用手指去挑动链条，车链上的油污全沾在了她手上。天已经黑了，筱蔷努力的盯着车链，神情专注。此时的她已经跪在地上，额头也微微冒汗。车链一次又一次的掉下来，她仍一次次的去尝试，双手满是油污，校服上也沾上了油渍。
多次失败后，她像是发现了什么方法。筱蔷将链条挂上后轮后，让我按住，拼命地拽住车链往前轮上套，终于把车链挂上了。“成功了！”我兴奋的抓住筱蔷的胳膊，却弄了她一胳膊的油污。筱蔷如释重负的擦了擦脸，却弄了一脸，望着她，我不禁哈哈大笑。“哎呦。”哭笑不得的筱蔷反手又抹了我一脸。望着彼此脏兮兮模样，我俩一同笑了起来。无人寂静的校园里，这声音格外清脆明亮，一如我们的友谊。

The story revolves around the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. Whereas the former is a sensible,, rational creature, her younger sister is wildly romantic--a characteristic that offers Austen plenty of scope for both satire and compassion. Commenting on Edward Ferrars, a potential suitor for Elinors hand, Marianne admits that while she "loves him tenderly," she finds him disappointing as a possible lover for her sister.
