首先来理解“有效”，“有效”是指在课堂教学管理中，教师的所作所为收到的效果与预期目标是相匹配的。课堂教学要有效，首先必须了解教育部课程标准对英语教学的目标要求。这一点对于小学英语教师来说非常重要，因为对于中学英语教师而言，课程标准既是日常教学的最主要依据，同时也是高考命题的重要根据之一。而对于小学英语教师来说，只有深刻了解课程标准的目标要求，日常教学才知道哪些可为，哪些不可为，这样，有效教学才有可能起码的保证。
在很多情况下，教师不仅是学生学习的“向导”，更是他们学习的“伙伴”。但这并不等于不需要教师在学生合作学习的过程中，适时地对学生进行有效的指导与帮助。
实际上，在英语小组合作学习的教学过程中，教师应当在合作前用简单明了的英语明确指出小组合作的任务及操作程序，并在具体实施时对分组不够清楚、操作程序上有些偏差、落实到个体上也可能不明确的小组，要及时发现并提供必要的指导与帮助，以保障各小组的合作学习都能启动并且正常运行。

The popularity of smartphones has exerted great influence on the way people communicate, so much so that an increasing number of individuals contend that face-to-face communication is being replaced by texts and images on the mobile phone.

Statistics show that over 70 percent of face-to-face communication consists of facial expressions and body language, which is why people should stay away from mobile phones when they have the chance to actually talk and communicate with others.
In a word, mobile phones act as an appropriate platform where people can always stay in tough however long the distance is, but a wise man should know when to put down his phone.

由于小组合作学习是在非常开放、宽松的氛围下开展的，小组成员的英语思维都非常活跃，语言交流的过程就成为学生间思维碰撞的过程，时常会有火花闪现。这种火花可能是一个富有创意的想法，也可能是一个富有哲理的话。教师要在倾听中努力去感受和寻找语言的魅力。必要时用英语进行恰到好处的点拨。这里需要注意，老师的“点拨”，决不能“越越代庖”，不能代替学生做他们自己能做的事，要适而可止，还是要把更多的空间留给学生自己。
