每天晚上，躺在那柔软的钢丝床上，望着蓝蓝的夜空，脑里总会浮现一些爸妈的事情，问一声：爸、妈你们累么？我真的害怕你们有一天会被累垮的，你们就歇一会儿吧，伴随着泪水，我的心情真的很沉重。每次想到这些，都会暗自下决心，我一定要成功，不，我必须成功。我每天晚上都会熬夜看书，就是希望有一天真的会成功，不再让爸妈受那份罪。
老天呀，你为什么这么对我呀，我难道还不够努力么？你为什么就不让我尝尝成功的滋味，我真的好想。
人家都说独生子女是舒服的，其实我不这样认为，我觉得我从小就多了一份压力与孤独，似乎我就多了一份使命感。因此，我每天的都安慰自己：“不要怕累，再翻过前面一个山头就到达了成功的彼岸了”。

记得在一本文摘上看过这样一个故事：一艘船行驶在波涛汹涌的大海上，风大浪急，船身摇晃得厉害，进了许多水，用不了多久可能就要沉没了。船的甲板上有许多空木桶，因船的颠簸而来回滚动。船上的水手于是问老船长：船长，我们要不要把木桶扔进海里减轻船的重量?老船长的话却出乎意料：不，把这些空木桶灌满水。所有人都震惊了，船长是不是疯了，这不是自寻路吗?但大家都不敢违抗船长的命令，怀着沉重的心情给木桶灌水。这时，奇迹出现了：给木桶灌满水后船身竟变得平稳，不那么摇晃了。一行人安全抵达港口。后来，老船长才语重心长的对大家说出了其中的道理：原来，船因为太轻了而左右摇晃，给木桶装水后船有了质量，反而不颠簸了。
其实，我们的生活中不还有许多这样的例子吗?就像太轻的气球容易飘走一样，人没有了压力也是一样不行的。我就深受其害过：减压，往往成为很多人不努力工作学习的借口，我也并无这个打算。我原本也只是想让自己轻松一点，没有任何压力的生活学习。但事实告诉我，我想错了。上课听听课，下课玩得忘乎所以，所谓的“减压”，很美好吧?换来的结果就只是成绩的直线下滑，就像一只鸟儿失去了双翼，坠入了深渊。好在我及时调整状态(但也花了很长时间才总算恢复以前的水平，在那之后，我都不敢让自己有一分一毫的松懈。我才发现，人是离不开压力的，时时刻刻要留点压力给自己。
纵观人类的历史，何尝不是压力的'功劳呢?生存的压力，迫使人们与大自然抗争，人类不断进化，拥有日趋发达的科学技术。但即使在现在这样一个和平安定的社会，人与人之间也依然存在着生存的压力，哪怕是应征一个公务员吧，也有无数无形的压力环绕着你。正是这种压力的存在，人类社会才得以不断前进。
记得有一个美国作家写了一本书，好像叫什么《不能承受的生命之轻》。确实也对，人没有压力就像一片羽毛，轻轻的，很容易就被风吹走了，只有生命有了分量，才能在时间劲厉的疾风中岿然不动，也只有这样，生命才真的达到了司马迁老先生说的“重于泰山”。
