The reason why they prefer to wear expensive clothes is just for face. Some students thought the more expensive they wear, the more confident they are. As far as I am concerned, I don't agree that students pursue famous brand. Most students can't earn money by themselves. We can't waste the money to buy expensive things which are not useful. It is hard for parents to make money. Remember, the main task of the students is to study.

Do you ever watch movies from other countries? Whenever I do, I think about how similar people really are all around the world. Even though the cultures and languages in those movies are different from mine, people all around the world are alike in their goals and emotions.
One time, I saw a movie made in china that showed parents helping their children with their homework. . My parents helped me the same way. Another time I saw a movie from Argentina. It showed school children playing hide and seek, which is a game I used to play with my friends during recess. Seeing these films demonstrated to me that education is a common goal in every country. Parents want their children to learn so their lives will improve. It also showed me that children in schools everywhere wants to play with their friends. Sometimes the games are similar to ours and sometimes they’re different. Still, they all have the common purpose of fun and learning to work together.
Earning a living is another common goal. I’ve often seen that in movies about other countries. In some countries, people choose their careers from what they like and are good at. In other countries, careers are chosen for them following the traditions of their families. But in every country it seems that people care a great deal about earning a living, and working hard is respected.
Showing people having fun together is always an important part of any movies, no matter what country it comes from. People everywhere want to be entertained, and want to spend time with their families and friends. Different cultures sometimes enjoy different activities, but all cultures enjoy some form of sports, music and dancing.
The movies I’ve seen make it clear to me that no matter the cultural differences between countries, people everywhere have the same basic needs and goals.

小时候我们选择不了家庭和出身，谁不想出身于帝王之家？可惜世界上太多的是平民。既然如此或卑贱或高贵都是上帝的安排，不管愿意与否或幸灾乐祸或无可奈何我们来了，来到这个充满争斗充满玄机充满诱惑充满美丽的世界上，于是出身就给我们首先上了一堂活生生的课：出身的差别就注定我们互相不在一个起跑线上。想改变命运吗，不可能，想适应命运吗，首先从适应这个出身开始。于是便要悬梁刺股的寒窗苦读，于是便有集腋成裘的原始积累，或稳扎稳打步步为营，或偷奸取巧投机钻营，或战战兢兢如履薄冰，或落井下石狗苟蝇营，为改变生存状态我们已经选择了很多方式，而得到的结果只是为了下一代的出身创造一个有别于自己的称谓而已，为了这些我们朝磨夕琢付出了许多不愿盘点，终于得到了才知道最宝贵的应该是失去的青春。为了改变出身或适应命运换来的不过是满头的白发和脸上的沟壑，仔细想来不值吗，确实不值。然而，人望幸福树望春，改换门庭，光宗耀祖，人之所愿，天经地义，谁又能越过这个门槛哪，只有神人。我不是神人。
青年时我们选择不了职业和地位，所做非所愿的比比皆是。尽管我们认为自己可以统帅千军万马，可是现实中一个你看来实实在在的窝囊废足以把你整治得服服帖帖，你对艺术孜孜以求没准就是个吹喇叭送葬的，你自以为自己混混噩噩没准哪天就让你当几天一把手，都说量体裁衣是明君可真正的明君实在太少，说不上什么缘由就把你放在某个位置上。机遇来了想躲躲不了，麻烦事到了想甩甩不开，处心积虑想追求的千呼万唤它不来，百般排斥的说不准就和你如影随形，这就是现实。说到这里方知人生中确实有诸多不能自己选择的东西：出身是父母为我们选择的，职业是社会为我们选择的，老婆是媒人为我们选择的，地位是金钱为我们选择的，身体是遗传基因为我们选择的，尤其是在官场，你的说话速度表情如何甚至起杯时机乃至排便习惯都是你的.上级为你选择的，你即便当个个体小老板，市场都要对你选择。我们选择健康，其不知病魔早已在不知不觉之中侵入你的肌体，即便你想，连的方式都难以选择，想喝敌敌畏都没准儿是假的。你就是选择好墓地如果贪个不孝之子没准把这最后的归宿转卖了。呜呼，能够主宰自己命运的是伟人，咱不是伟人，对一些东西只能顺其自然，无法选择。
这么说我们没啥可以选择了？有，其实很多，关键是自由度不要太大。就像焦大选择林黛玉我选择宋祖英纯属瞎胡闹一样，还是现实一些吧。对一些在理论和实践方面都不可能的东西就当不存在。那么选择啥哪？如果没有贪欲，可以选择自在，就省去许多烦恼。如果不做亏心事，可以选择好梦做做，就不怕警车呼啸，如果不总想占便宜，会选择许多好朋友，就不会孤家寡人。是啊，只要不挑挑拣拣，顺口的东西还真不少，何必非要山珍海味不可呀。何不对到来的选择容忍和接纳，对得不到的选择忘却和放弃。说来说去，什么才是最值得选择又难以选择的?心情，如果说活到这个年龄应该对得起自己的话，就应该为自己的现在营造一个好心情。昨天已经过去了，咋想也没用，须知覆水难收，时光不可倒流，回忆不能当饭吃，至于明天是咋回事鬼才知道。朝霞满天我们就欣赏璀璨，逢上雨天撑把伞就是了。须知此时的感觉最重要，不应错过杨柳婀娜着此刻的温暖，善于发现长空深远着今天的蔚蓝，让我们感受这眼前的愉悦吧，如果现在能够拥有一个豁达乐观，空灵自由，纯净透明，坦然恬静的心理状态，这才是真正的享受。突然想起一句话，说命运总是选择强者，那么我觉得强者同时也是智者，他们有一个特质，就是始终具备一个良好的心理状态，善于把握现在，享用现在，这才是最明智的选择。
