关于年的故事也有许多，我最最喜欢年怪的故事，这是一个美妙的传说：从前人们过着幸福的生活，直到有一天，村子里来一只怪物，据说它是“年怪”，两只眼睛亮晶晶的，全身火红的，还是在过年时出现的，直到有一天，村民忍不住，发现年怪怕烟花爆竹，大家就回家，放烟花，点爆竹，一片欢乐的笑声和那“噼噼啪啪”的烟火声终于吓走“年怪”。
过年时候还有许多讲究呢!如吃年夜饭又称团圆饭，吃完年夜饭后，每年都有那必不可少的春晚这“菜肴”。正月初一吃汤圆表示“团团圆圆”。拜年可分级别的，就像给长辈拜年要说一些关于身体健康的词语，给父母拜年要说一些有关事业上的词，我们小朋友们最最高兴的就是拿压岁钱，有它可以去买自己喜欢的东西……

“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户瞳瞳日，总把新桃换旧符。”吟着这首脍炙人口的小诗，我们又迎来了新年。
传说中有一只叫“年”的怪兽，它年年出来吃人。后来有一个神仙说“年”怕火光、响声、红色，人们这么做，果然“年”没有出来了。久而久之就形成了一种风俗。
“嘭......”一只只爆竹在天空中绽放出五彩缤纷的花朵：红色的、紫色的、黄色的......“快进来吃饭。”妈妈在厨房喊道。餐桌上，许多佳肴散发着诱人香味，让我口水飞流三千尺，立马向它们发起了进攻。不一会“敌军”就被我消灭只剩下“残兵”不过我还在“大扫荡”。我夹到了最后一块鸡腿，可弟弟一直看我，好像在说你一定要把肉给我。我想想给也不是，不给也不是，最后我只好在弟弟直钩钩的眼神中给了他。
之后我们一起看“春节联欢晚会”，一夜里笑声不停，炮声不断。

年味，是烟花爆竹那硝烟的味道;是采办年货那喜气洋洋的味道;是吃年夜饭那幸福温暖的味道;也是看春晚那兴致勃勃的味道;更是以上所有味道都混合起来的，喜庆团圆的味道。
爸爸妈妈满载而归，手里拎着沉甸甸的年货，接着，我们在家门口贴上一副火红的对联和“福”字。然后，我们就去走亲访友，家家户户都把家里打扫得干干净净，挂上喜庆的中国结，并且相互赠送礼品，送红包，拜年问候。从这个时候，我已感受到浓浓的年味，年的脚步已经越来越近。
爷爷奶奶也忙着谢年，整个房间都有他们忙碌的身影。他们端上丰盛的饭菜，点烛插香，参拜许愿。晚上，我们一家人团聚在一起，一边吃着丰盛的年夜饭，一边谈笑风生，整个房间充满温情。
看春晚当然也是我们不可或缺的项目之一。一首首动听的歌谣，一支支美丽的舞蹈，一个个搞笑的小品，再加上扣人心弦的杂技以及魔术表演，使每年的春晚都是那么令人期待。
当然，最勾引我们童心的东西非烟花莫属。年夜饭还未吃完，楼下早已传来“噼噼啪啪”的烟花声，那就像一声声集结号，我和表哥再无心思吃饭，放下筷子，抓起早已备好的烟花，冲下楼去。楼下早已聚集一群邻家孩子，你扇你的“芭蕉扇”，我放我的“火凤凰”，摔炮也来凑热闹……晚上十二点整，“嘭——啪——”一声声炮响把我儿猛地惊醒，往窗外一张望，只见外头火树银花，照亮夜空，可谓壮观啊!
有句话说得好，“新年新气象”，在新的一年里，我也要更上一层楼!

盼望着，盼望着，年的脚步声近，学校也开始放假。今年我们到奶奶家过年的，那里的年味可浓，家家户户都挂红灯笼，贴春联，置办年货，买新衣服，买爆竹烟花……，大家忙得不亦乐乎。
这年货是要提前置办的，在年前十几天家家户户就忙活开，蒸馒头、做糕点、做粿、做豆腐……奶奶也忙着为过年做各种准备，爷爷奶奶家的一只年猪有三百来斤重，爷爷请来师傅帮忙宰。
走在街上，到处一片喜庆的景象，行人个个兴高采烈，路边的商店也十分热闹，还有人拎着大包小包急匆匆地赶回家过年。
除夕这一天，每家最忙，一大早，各家都在忙着炒菜，因为今天要给祖先烧纸，以表示对他们的怀念。又忙着贴春联、福字，一般中午前一定要做好的。晚上，家家灯火通明，喜气洋洋，全家人欢聚一堂，吃着各式各样的美味佳肴，品着美酒，互相干杯，说着吉祥祝福的话语，有说有笑，其乐融融。接着放鞭炮、烟花，夜空在鞭炮与烟花的交织中变成一个绚烂的大花园，看着这些美丽的烟花，我在院中手舞足蹈，爷爷和奶奶都乐。到八点，大家开始看春晚的节目，爷爷奶奶、爸爸妈妈、叔叔婶婶还给我和小弟弟准备红包，说这是压岁钱。
