小猴子大口大口地吃着葡萄，一不小心，一串葡萄掉下来了，被站在下面的小兔子和小松鼠看到了。
他们俩连忙过去捡起葡萄还给小猴子。小猴子说：“你们尝尝吧，真的非常甜。”小兔子和小松鼠互相看看，他们把葡萄放进嘴里一咬，啊！真甜呀，真好吃！一串葡萄一下子就吃完了。小兔子说：“猴子哥哥，再摘几串给我们吧！”小猴子笑着说：“以后可不要光听别人说，要自己去尝试一下。”小兔子和小松鼠说：“知道了，以后我们一定会自己自己去尝试。”
小猴子摘了好多又紫又大的葡萄送给他们，小兔子和小松鼠把葡萄送给了爷爷和奶奶吃，又把最后一串葡萄送给小狐狸。小狐狸说：“不是说葡萄是酸的吗？你们为什么还敢吃！”小松鼠说：“你别说了，这葡萄是甜的。”小狐狸吃了一个，擦擦嘴角，故意说：“咦，真是甜的呀！我刚才吃的明明的酸的，现在怎么变得这么甜了？”小松鼠说：“你别狡辩了，看看你的衣服，都被你的口水弄湿了。”
小狐狸红着脸，低下了头。

松鼠说：“不知道，可是狐狸说这葡萄是酸的”。小兔子说：“既然你能两个都说葡萄是酸的，拿着葡萄一定是酸的”。小兔子和小松鼠呆呆的看着个葡萄架。过了一会，小猴子来了，小猴子问小松鼠和小兔子：“这葡萄是酸的还是甜的”？小松鼠和小兔子说：“这葡萄是酸的，不能吃”！猴子看看这葡萄架，扑腾一下，跳了上去，摘了一个葡萄放在嘴里“恩~真甜”。小猴子说。小松鼠和小白兔问猴子：“这葡萄是酸的，你怎么说是甜的啊”？
小猴子说：“来来来~我摘一串给你们尝尝”。小兔子和小松鼠说：“恩~真甜。”小松鼠说：“为什么狐狸大哥说这葡萄是酸的啊”？小兔子说：“我也不知道啊”！猴子说：“狐狸说是酸的，那就真是酸的吗？，你们为什么不自己摘一串尝尝啊”！小兔子和小松鼠说：“是啊！我们应该自己尝一尝，狐狸说是酸的，那也不一定是酸的啊”！送这以后，小松鼠和小白兔知道了做什么事都要自己动手做，不能看别人失败了，想自己也失败！
