《截》的构图细腻，形象生动，借助文字、表情、动作等丰富了画面，而《给》则以简练胜出，这就需要作者有一定的鉴赏力，能够用最简洁的事物表达出复杂的思想，并谊染出感染读者的强大的共鸣力。《给》极巧妙地做到了这一点。它的构图简单但不单调，画面虽不丰富却富有感染力。
“美的最高理想要在实在与形式的尽量完美的结合与平衡里才可找到。”《给》中所要表达的'思想全都凝结在那两个与众不同的手指上—被截掉的大拇指和多出来的第六指。这种借滴水而折射出大海，借粒沙反映出沙滩的手法，意味深刻，读者在第一眼看到这种漫画时，不仅仅是在欣赏这幅画，更已经进人思考，漫画的含义是什么，作者所要表达的情感又是什么。这种融合了思维的表现手法，不仅体现出文字的深度，又能够确实表达出漫画与文字最大的不同。虽然《给》整个画面除了题目再无文字，但寓意都包含在那只手中。相较《截》却有太多的辅助事物和说明文字，反而削弱了要表达的思想深度。当然这并不是说图案丰富不好。在漫画的表现手法上，采取丰富的李物形象也是一种不错的方式，但是过于细腻的构图在一定程度卜会影响到读者对漫画的思考，毕竟眼睛是先入为主的。
如果说《截》就像油画一样色彩浓烈，那么《给》就象中国国画一样，具有一种特别的“空白艺术”，引人遐想和深思，因此在两幅漫画间我觉得《给》更胜一筹，这就是我更喜欢《给》的原因。
