My father is a tall man with a pair of glasses. Everyone says he is a kind-hearted man. He often helps his neighbours and some strangers whom he doesnt know at all. He has really done a lot for others. I dont like him to do so because I think it has taken him too much time. When I discourage him, he always says with a smile,The world needs warm hearts.
My father loves his family, and loves his work even better. In the company, he is called workaholic He spends most of his time working, and often forgets to have meals or to go to bed.As a result,he doesnt enjoy good health. My father likes reading in his spare time. He told me reading was very interesting. I became interested in reading little by little. I like books, because they help me in many ways. My father has a bad habit he likes smoking very much. I hate it. See, the house is full of smoke. I know its bad for his health as well as mothers and mine. I advise him to give up smoking. Im sure he will follow my advice some day. Such is my father. I am proud of having such a good father.

我没有见过雷锋，但是他的事迹早已在我心中。妈妈经常给我讲雷锋叔叔的故事：雷锋叔叔帮一位大嫂买火车票;帮一位老奶奶送回家;帮同班战士洗衣服……总之，他的事迹让我感动。
雷锋从小家境贫穷，尝遍了酸甜苦辣，因此雷锋从小立志为人民服务。在我听妈妈讲雷锋做过的好事中，有二件事让我记忆犹新：第一件事是雷锋在一次外出到沈阳火车站换车的时候，一出检票口，发现一群人围着一个背着小孩的中年妇女，原来这位妇女从山东去吉林看望丈夫，不小心把车票和钱都丢了，雷锋用自己的津贴费买了一张票硬塞到大嫂手里，大嫂含着泪问：“大兄弟，你叫什么名字?住在哪里?”雷锋说：“我叫解放军，住在中国。”第二件是雷锋帮一位老奶奶送回家的事。有一天，下着大雨，雷锋正要回部队，可是他看见路边有个老奶奶站在雨中，很无助的样子，雷锋想：这位老奶奶肯定是遇上困难了。他走到老奶奶身边，问她：“老奶奶，你怎么这里站着?怎么不回家啊?”老奶奶说：“我忘记了回家的路!”雷锋问老奶奶住在哪里，老奶奶只记得她所在村子的名字。雷锋脱下雨衣给老奶奶穿上，带着老奶奶一路走一路问把她送回了家，可是自己因为淋雨冻得感冒了!像这样的好事，雷锋做的不计其数，这是多么可贵的精神啊!然而，无论时空如何变化，那些决定人类向前发展的基本要素没有变，那些人类任何时候都在追求的美好事物没有变。尽管在我们的身边，雷锋精神被越来越多的人们所淡忘，然而，在世界的'更多地方，雷锋被不同肤色的人们所景仰，所学习。雷锋精神以超越时空的力量成为人类最宝贵的精神财富。一个美国商人如此说道：雷锋精神是人类应该有的，应把雷锋精神弘扬到全世界。要学习雷锋对待事业的态度，学习雷锋刻苦学习的钉子精神，学习雷锋关心人、爱护人、支持人、理解人的品质。
一个日本企业家这样感叹：“雷锋仅20多岁就做了那么多的好事，成为伟大的英雄，对人类是有贡献的。学雷锋无国界之分，把雷锋精神引进我们公司，运用到生产实践中去，会改变员工的精神面貌，产生巨大的效益。

在我上四年级的时候，我换了一位新同桌，他叫刘晋铭。
When I was in the fourth grade, I changed a new deskmate. His name is Liu Jinming.
他是一个胖呼呼的小男生，长着一双大大的眼睛，小小的嘴巴，非常可爱。他非常聪明尤其是数学，上课时非常投入。
He is a chubby little boy with big eyes and small mouth. He is very cute. Hes very smart, especially in math, and hes very engaged in class.
记得有一次，在上课得时候我问刘晋铭一道题，可是刘晋铭看老师写字在黑板上，完全听不到我的题问。我的同桌真是投入呀！
I remember once when I was in class, I asked Liu Jinming a question. But when Liu Jinming saw the teacher writing on the blackboard, he couldnt hear my question at all. My deskmate is really engaged!
