我仿佛与汤姆融为一体，一起经历着千奇百怪的故事。这本书首先讲了跟随他的姨妈生活，是个十足的“捣蛋鬼”，他生性顽皮，所以经常挨打。镇上的“坏孩子”哈克是汤姆的好朋友，一天晚上，他们在墓地无意中撞上了一起凶案，他们立誓绝不泄密。汤姆因为厌倦枯燥的课堂和单调的生活，汤姆与哈克和乔·哈帕去当“海盗”，他们看见村民为他们举行的“葬礼时才感动而归。还有一次野外活动中，汤姆和贝基被困山洞，再次发现人凶手——乔。在贝基几乎绝望时，汤姆勇敢鼓励贝基，一直到了村民赶来救援。最后，印第安人乔在了山洞里，哈克和汤姆也找回了宝藏。
回味《汤姆·索亚历险记》，我觉得汤姆是一个勇敢机智、有正义感、足智多谋的人，虽然汤姆有时调皮，但这不正是体现出了我们孩子的天真烂漫吗?比起现在的儿童生活来，没有了与大自然的亲密接触，汤姆·索亚虽是一个非常淘气的孩子，但他没有让众人感到厌恶，反而结交了很多好朋友。每个人的童年都应该是快乐活泼，淘气捣蛋的。汤姆有时也耍小聪明。一次，波莉姨妈罚汤姆粉刷篱笆墙——这可是汤姆最讨厌干的活。于是，他略施诡计，把很多孩子骗去干活，别人还得为他奉上谢礼，这实在让人忍俊不禁。
让我印象最深刻的是汤姆和贝基被困在了山洞里，可汤姆却十分镇定，勇敢地在山洞中等待救援。如果换成别人，我想他一定没有勇气走下去，汤姆这种临危不惧的精神实在是让人佩服!
如果一个人只是板地读书而不玩耍，那他就不会深刻地领悟到生活中的乐趣。很多人认为调皮会耽误学业，苏格拉底曾经说过：”不玩耍不成人“。我们现在的宝物是遥控汽车、布娃娃、动画片……可是，在我们得到这些东西的同时，我们却失去了汤姆最容易得到的东西——自由!

这本书虽然读完了，但是我的读书之旅是不会结束的!因为高尔基曾经说过：书籍是人类进步的阶梯。而成功正需要这阶梯。

在汤姆被罚时，他充分显示了自己的聪明才智，为了能让别人帮他刷墙，他故意表现的很有意思，让他省了不少功夫，还让别人心甘情愿的给他东西，作为酬劳。而就在他和哈克相遇的那天晚上，两人一起目睹了一起凶案，为了主持正义，不畏强暴的汤姆站了出来，揭发了印第安·乔的丑陋面目，解救了被冤枉的波特。
