节目中，17岁的内地人气青春组合TFBOYS成员王源将以自身经历为观众讲述一个不一样的偶像青春。作为无数青少年的偶像，也是第一位登上联合国世界舞台的中国少年偶像，王源在大众的'眼中无疑是光芒万丈享受着无尽粉丝追捧的。然而12岁就已少年成名，在其他人想着看什么动画玩什么游戏的时候就必须承担繁重的艺能训练、工作，同时还要平衡自己的课业。王源看似令人羡慕的偶像青春其实完全不像大众想象中那么轻松。节目中，王源坦言自己的成名作《青春修炼手册》原名其实叫《正太修炼手册》，而且唱的时候完全不懂歌词的意思，“因为当时还是小孩，才12岁，就当作儿歌来唱。”
如今，17岁的王源已经学会处理学习与工作、个人生活与公众形象等很多问题。但在刚刚出道时，还是孩子的他在网络上被不少人攻击，面对难以理解的委屈，为了发泄只能关起门来对着空气“回骂”。
