If I were a boy again, I would school myself into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the subject in hand. I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.
The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people say, I could not fix my attention on the sermon or book, although I wished to do so, and the reason is, the habit was not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty by every possible means, and on every possible occasion. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; but memory soon helps itself, and gives very little trouble. It only needs early cultivation to become a power.
If I were a boy again, I would cultivate courage. Nothing is so mild and gentle as courage, nothing so cruel and pitiless as cowardice, says a wise author.
We too often borrow trouble, and anticipate that may never appear. The fear of ill exceeds the ill we fear. Dangers will arise in any career, but presence of mind will often conquer the worst of them. Be prepared for any fate, and there is no harm to be feared.

四（1）班背完后，该我们班了。我们按排有顺序的入场，入场后中间一排做着，上、下两排站着。开始了，麦克风像传接力棒似的.，在同学们手中传递着。当刘勃含说到“一蓑烟雨 ”时，我的大脑飞快做出判断：“我要说溪边晚钓之翁。”我接过麦克风说：“溪边晚钓之翁。”把麦克风递给了阮明雨。可是高鹏旭竟然忘词了，他只好传给下一个同学，就这样传了两圈，我们班结束了。
开始抽查了，我忽然听见了16号。16号？那不是我的号吗？我赶紧过去。叫完了号，抽纸条排序。老天，怎么这么靠后？我暗暗叫苦。
我的前面有一个男生，背着背着，忽然忘词了。看着他一脸囧相，我想笑，他忽然想了起来，赶紧背完下台。
等来等去，到我了。我要背第2段。上台时，我的心像敲小鼓似的咚咚响。后来，我想：“都上台了就没什么好怕的。”于是，我尽量背好、不背错。背完了，我赶紧下台，回到班级。
这次比赛，我知道古人写书是不易的，我一定要好好学习。

这不，今天老师又让我们背课文了。这可是一个超级难的事情。我怎么背也背不好，时间一分一秒的过去了，可我只能记住两三句，经常是记住了前面，忘记了后面，要么是记住了后面，就忘记了前面，这可咋办呢？妈妈对我说：“你不要这么着急，心越急柴越湿，你先通读几遍课文，理解了课文的\'内容，然后再一句一句的记住，如果句子短的话，可以两三句一起记，最后，窜起来再记一下，要是碰到忘记的地方，再看看书，再记记，肯定会记住的。”我按照妈妈的方法，试着去记。可是，发现效果还是不怎么好。于是，妈妈又说：“记忆讲究的是方法，记硬背是行不通的，即便你能背出来，但也很快会忘记的。其实，记忆可以有联想法，你自己试着用什么联想，印象更深刻，这样记起来既快又不太容易遗忘，你再试试看。”我又照妈妈的方法试了一下，发现好了一点，比原先记起来更容易一点了。接着，我就照这样的方法去背课文。总算谢天谢地的把这篇课文勉勉强强的背出来了。妈妈又对我说：“再多读几遍，有助于记忆，要不然，很快要忘记的。”我又照妈妈说的，又多读了几遍课文。
哦！天哪！这要命的文字，真够捉弄人的呀！

我们坐着观光车欣赏路边风景，约10分钟后下车步行。向里走不多远便是“愚公人家”景点，一片茅草屋，仿古代村舍，这里是影视剧“愚公”的拍摄基地。路边是“八卦亭”，造型寓意八卦内涵。
前行没多远，见到两座山模型，一边山体上写着王屋山，一边山体上写着太行山，摄影留念。再向前走，便是银河峡景区，峡谷内怪石嶙峋，岩石多是火山石，很有观赏价值。
峡谷内多条悬桥增添了游客兴趣，尤其是银燕桥，桥面造型独特，赋予人挑战精神。“映光潭”“卧虎滩”“中华石”“ 禹王床”是上山前的景点。山上景点便是娲皇庙，烧香还愿的地方，庙前冠有“钟灵毓秀”字样的\'大门。
去过娲皇庙之后便可下山，下山可不行，也可坐滑道，滑道每人10元，挺刺激的。做过滑道之后向下走一段路，有一片水域可再次划船，每人10元。挺刺激的。
快乐的时光总是很短暂，夕阳西下，我们就要离开这美丽的大峡谷了我们还要往回赶呢。玩了几个小时，虽然有点累，但大家都有不虚此行的感觉。有空还要来。
