那猴走到海边，一只海鸥掉了下来，于是那猴把海鸥烤了，然后吃掉。吃饱的`猴头想要天然的椰汁，可椰子树都被猴子们砍光了，猴头便发现能当上这群候子的老大，以后便衣食无忧了。那猴想啊想，突然它想出了个好主意，便挖了个洞在瀑布后。它把猴子们叫来，说“谁能跳过瀑布，就当老大吧。”虽然猴子们叫它不要自，不要染污河水，但猴子还是跳过去了。当它出来时，发现猴子们给它做了一块墓碑。
猴头告诉猴子们，里面有个大洞，于是猴子们都跳入瀑布，拜那猴为王。有只候子问这是什么洞，那猴说：“我也不知道哦。”猴子叫那猴给洞取个名字，那猴便说“就叫花果山水帘洞吧！”猴子们都夸说：“好名好名！”
话又说回来，寓公公公移完山后发现房子破了个大洞，便去森林砍柴。路上遇上了一只熊，忽然想起小时候老师讲过遇见熊就要装，不想也得。心中自喜还好那课上没打瞌睡。
寓公公公装后，许多动物都来了，还有那猴和猴子们，那猴不明白是什么，猴子们告诉它就是怎么踩都没反应。那猴不想，猴子们告诉那猴，海对面有个成仙学院，那猴可以去那找仙人学不法术。
