the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! 每个周末，是我们和父母期待已久的休息日。在休息日里曾发生过许许多多悲欢离合的事情。在这个周末里，发生了令我难忘的一件事。
记得在星期六下午，我上完课，天上下着绵绵细雨，我撑着小雨伞走在回家的路上。突然只听见前面“咚”的一声，一位老爷爷摔倒在地。旁边路过的行人走过去把老爷爷扶起来，并轻声地问：“老大爷，你有哪里伤着吗？要不要去看一下？老爷爷说：“没什么，小伙子，谢谢你了。”旁边撞了老爷爷的那位年轻人感到十分的尴尬，红着脸连声对老爷爷说：“老大爷，对不起，真对不起。我家有急事，你哪里不舒服，钱我赔给你。”原本我还为老爷爷会十分生气，然而结果出乎意料，老爷爷却把钱退给了年轻人，并让他快点回去。路旁边围观的人议论纷纷，都说老爷爷为什么不收钱，快到手的钱不要，真是笨。而老爷爷却视而不见，听而不闻，他对围观的群众说：“别人有急事，另外我现在也没有什么大碍，就让他去吧！”我对老爷爷肃然起敬，大家好对老爷爷的做法连连称赞。
通过这件事，从中我懂了一个道理：不能因为芝麻般的小事，而伤和气。更不能违背良心，见钱眼开。啊！这正值是个快乐而难忘的周末。
