1。 头绪分明，脉络清楚
写好记叙文，首先要头绪分明，脉络清楚，明确文章要求写什么。要对所写的事件或人物进行分析，弄清事件发生、发展一直到结束的整个过程，然后再收集选取素材。这些素材都应该跟上述五个“ W ”和一个“ H ”有关。尽管不是每篇记叙文里都必须包括这些“ W ”和“ H ”，但动笔之前，围绕五个“ W ”和“ H ”进行构思是必不可少的。
2。 突出中心，详略得当
在文章的框架确定后，对支持故事的素材的选取是很关键的。选材要注意取舍，应该从表现文章主题的需要出发，分清主次，定好详略。要突出重点，详写细述那些能表现文章主题的重要情节，略写粗述那么非关键的次要情节。面面俱到反而使情节罗列化，使人不得要领。这一点是写好记叙文要解决的一个基本问题，也需要一定的技巧。如：
One night a man came to our house and told me， "There is a family with eight children。 They have not eaten for days。" I took some food with me and went。
When I finally came to that family， I saw the faces of those little children disfigured （破坏外貌） by hunger。 There was no sorrow or sadness in their faces， just the deep pain of hunger。
I gave the rice to the mother。 She divided the rice in two， and went out， carrying half the rice。 When she came back， I asked her， "Where did you go?" she gave me this simple answer， "To my neighbors — they are hungry also!"
3。 用活语言，准确生动
记叙文要用具体的事件和生动的语言对人、事、物加以叙述。一篇好的记叙文的语言既要准确、生动，又要表现力强，这样才能把人、事描写得具体生动，其可读性才强。试比较下面一篇例文修改的前后效果。
原文：
One day Xiaoqiang was wandering away。 He was soon lost among people and traffic。 He could not find the way back home and started crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by found him standing alone in front of a shop and crying。 They went up to Xiaoqiang and asked him what had happened。 Xiaoqiang told them how he got lost and where he lived。 The two students decided to take him home。 Mother was pleased to see Xiaoqiang come back safe and sound。 She invited the two students into the house and gave them some money， but they didn＇t take it。 She served them with tea but they left。
修改后：
The other day， five-year-old Xiaoqiang left home alone and wandered happily in the street。 After some time， he felt hungry so he wanted to go back home。 But he found he was lost among the crowded people and heavy traffic。 When he could not find the way home， he started and crying。 Just then， two young students who were passing by from school found him sanding crying in front of a shop。 They immediately went up to him。
"Little boy， why are you standing here crying?" they asked。
"I want Mom， I go home。" said the boy， still crying。
"Don＇t worry， we＇ll send you home。"
And they spent the next two hours looking for the boy＇s house。 With the help of a policeman， they finally found it。
When the worried mother saw her son come back safe and sound， she was so thankful and she invited the students into her house。 Gratefully， she offered them some money， saying it was a way to express her thanks， but the young students firmly refused it and left without even a cup of tea。

首先，我们来到了自贡恐龙博物馆，博物馆的入口就像一只巨大的恐龙，在平原上晃悠着。我们刚进去，恐龙山上的威风凛凛的霸王龙模型开始怒吼，好像在说：“我是天下第一龙！”我们上了恐龙山，又下了恐龙山。我们走进展馆后，开始参观第一部分—恐龙世界，这里展出了大大小小十具恐龙骨架化石，有李氏蜀龙，天府蛾眉龙，和平永川龙，太白华阳龙等恐龙化石。让我感觉最温馨的化石是一只母太白华阳龙半蹲着，好像在下蛋。
我们又参观了第二部分恐龙遗址，在这里，我们看到了未被发掘出来的化石。接着，我们参观了第三部分—恐龙时代的动植物，我们看见了中生代的鳄鱼骨架化石，又看见了昆虫化石，中生代的'蟑螂有十厘米长，听起来觉得恶心吧？我们看到翼龙和鱼龙的化石，也看到了苏铁的化石。我们来到最后一个部分—恐龙时代的珍品，在这一部分我的印象最深刻的是和平永川龙的头骨,有一米长，足够装下一个两岁的孩子。
伴随着小鸟的歌声，我们出了园区，往南进发，到了燊海井，燊海井的情况是：燊海井开凿于公元1823年，凿成于公元1835年，宽约二十厘米，深约一千米，今天还在使用。好神奇呀！

夜晚，汽车驶进自贡市区，汽车在平整柏油路面滑行，行道树的枝干全都裹上银色灯光，一排排在窗外溜过。河边金鱼灯栩栩如生、五颜六色。会馆门口的大树穿上了亮晶晶的华丽衣裳，仿佛不断地重复着一句话：“欢迎，欢迎，热烈欢迎！”。一切的一切，令人欣喜不已。
我们进入灯会场馆，好似来到了灯的海洋，奇灯异彩、五光十色、目不暇接。看灯会的人可真多呀！人流如潮、比肩继踵。爸爸高举相机“喀嚓！喀嚓！”。漂亮新奇的灯真是数不胜数！不能久看、容不得你久看，稍有不慎就会走掉。
道路的`两旁都有花灯，我仿佛进入了童话世界。在奇异神秘的灯光背景下，蓝色的杆、绿色的叶，衬托着红色、粉红色的花瓣，一闪一闪漂亮极了。
往前走，在梦幻儿童乐园里，我看到尖顶乖巧的小屋，苍翠的小松树，还有小时候熟悉的动物：可爱的小青蛙，小白兔乖乖、大灰狼。我还看见了动画片里的人物：小红帽、大头儿子和小头爸爸，格格巫，个个玲珑漂亮，这一切都让我倍感亲切。
往前走，水仙一片，杆碧绿、花娇艳，鲜红、嫩黄、粉嘟嘟，亭亭玉立，姿态各异，逗人爱呀！美丽蝴蝶翩翩舞，一闪一闪，我怀疑究竟是梦境还是仙境？。
再往前走，水的世界，蓝色天幕背景下，水草舒展，大大小小的水母升升降降，闪闪发亮，活灵活现。
再往前走，龙马灯组引人十分注目。左右两侧都有两匹马展开双翅，欲要飞向天空，一个五彩的柱子支撑着一个拱形的桥，那是一条龙，看起来十分凶狠、威猛：蓝色的眼睛瞪着远方，金色的鳞片闪闪发亮，龙的两侧各有一匹穿着“金甲”的马立在它的左右。龙马组合，真是威风凛凛。
继续往前走，八匹骏马狂奔灯组，一字排开，气势磅礴。八骏个个昂首、愤踢、尾甩，整个身体流线型，鬃毛飘逸，像疾跑、像狂奔、像在天上飞。见到这情景，怎不令人为之一振！愿我们的祖国像骏马一样狂奔。
继续往前走，还有梦幻天宫，梦幻仙境，神奇的麒麟，动漫世界，时光隧道，玲珑的“小猪”，灯组个个漂亮，数不胜数。
自贡灯会，唤起了我们美好的童年，启示了我们奋发的未来。我想：只要心中有了灯------追求美好未来的灯，人生征途永远不会迷失方向。
