“知人者智，自知者明。”这是老子的不朽良言。对于每个人而言，何尝不是这样呢?唐太宗善纳魏征谏言，他通过魏征这面“镜子”，得以不断反省自己，终于开创了“贞观之治”的盛世。纵使千年时光已逝，唐朝的影响依旧深远，唐朝的强盛和太宗的伟绩依旧叫人景仰。
人，在反省中变得明智。
“误落尘网中，一去三十年。”这是陶渊明的心声。为官彭泽令，却要为五斗米折腰，这让他看尽了官场的腐败。他独自反省这一切，终于感叹只有“榆柳荫后檐，桃李罗堂前”的田园生活，才是他梦寐以求的归宿。同样，早年的李太白年轻气盛，高呼“仰天大笑出门去，我辈岂是蓬蒿人”，踏上仕途。可当他备尝朝廷的风刀霜剑后，他明白了只有公正无私的大自然才会真正接纳自己，因而他倾吐出“安能摧眉折腰事权贵，使我不得开心颜”的心声，最终盛开成中华诗歌史上的不败“青莲”。
人，在反省中变得纯洁。
“回首向来萧瑟处，归去，也无风雨也无晴。”这是苏东坡在风雨途中的放旷心声。其实，我们每个人何尝不需要这种乐观平和的心态呢?苏轼因“乌台诗案”而被贬黄州，但并未因此一蹶不振，而是静坐独思，倾听自己心中的江潮澎湃。最终，他获得了心灵的释放，面对生活重新燃起了希望。虽遭挫折，他却变得乐观、坦然，在令他最痛苦的地方写下了脍炙人口的光辉篇章，终于闪烁成中国文学史上一颗永远不灭的明星。
人，在反省中变得坚韧。
在历史长河中，多少帝王将相名垂千古，是因为他们通过不断反省而变得更加崇高;在登临高山的探险中，多少人半途而废，因为他们不知反省自己，吸取教训;在科学探索中，多少科学家取得硕果，通过不断反省使自己对科学细节更加清楚……
巴尔扎克说：“反躬自省和沉思默想只会充实我们的头脑。”愿我们都能时时反省自己，成为真正的强者。
