早上六点二十，我们准时出发。先是由一位淳朴善良的叔叔开车送我们到徐水。后来，我们又坐上了通往北京的大客车，同着其他旅客一起向着北京出发。一路上，我们说说笑笑，好开心。虽然我有一点小晕车，但这丝毫没有影响我的好心情。经过两个多小时的奔波。我们终于到达了目的地。
我们从北京军事博物馆下了车。然后坐上地铁，大约坐了六、七站，就到了天安门广场东。我们下了地铁，来到了天安门广场。到达天安门广场的第一感觉就是‘人多车多旗子多’。我们跨过马路来到天安门广场。哇！天安门真漂亮啊！金黄色的塔顶被太阳映射出刺眼的金光！一片片金色的瓦片甚是好看！下面就是的照片，你看，他正用那炯炯有神的眼睛看着我呢！天安门的最下面就是七个大小不一的门洞。据导游介绍，这七个门是给不同级别的官员们走的，而中间那个最大的则是皇上的“专用通道”呢。在天安门城楼的正前方，就是人民大会堂了。咱们国家的重大会议都是在这里开呢！
大约一个小时之后，我们又来到了故宫里面。听导游说，故宫旧称紫禁城。是明清两代皇宫，中国现存最大最完整的古建筑群。导游还说，相传故宫里面有9999间房屋。因为天上的神仙有10000间房屋。但是，咱们人类也不能差了，就比天上的神仙少一间屋子。但是这只是传说，真正的故宫只有八千多间屋子。就像一个刚刚出生的孩子，每天住一间屋子，等到住完了的时候，这个孩子已经是一个27岁的大人了呢！
我们首先进入的是故宫的午门，午门的讲究很多，它是由三面墙围成一个正方形的广场，正面三洞门，两旁各设一洞门。其中正中间的门只有皇上平日里可以走，皇后在新婚当日也可以走一次，再有就是殿试考中状元、榜眼、探花的三人可以走一次。左右两个门是文武大臣和宗室王公出入的门。而其它文武百官只能走两个侧门。从午门的正面看是三个门，从后面看是五个门，所以有“明三暗五”之说。一进去就看到五座精巧的汉白玉拱桥，这个也是按照官衔等级的高低来衡量的，这也就充分体现了古代的尊卑分明。
过了太和门又见到一个更大的广场，前面是一座更大的宫殿，也是故宫里地位最高的宫殿——太和殿，俗称“金銮殿”，是皇上升朝的地方。太和殿果然气派，故宫里最大的数字是九，而太和殿的.殿檐上设有十个走兽，由此可见太和殿的地位已经用九这个数字都不能代表了。接着就是中和殿，是皇上准备祭祀用品的地方。然后是保和殿，是皇上招待宾客的地方。径直向前走是乾清宫，在故宫内庭最前面。皇上在此批阅奏报，选派官吏和召见臣下，也是皇上的住处。交泰殿在乾清宫和坤宁宫之间，含天地交合、安康美满之意。
后来，我们又来到了御花园，园内有许多珍贵的花草树木，数不胜数。我们逛完御花园。在御花园的长廊里休息了一会儿。到了三点钟，我们该原路返回了。可是我们还是意犹未尽，我只好恋恋不舍的离开了故宫。故宫实在是太大了，下一次我一定要把它转个遍！
我们坐了地铁又回到了军博地铁站。4点半，我们按原路程返回。回去的路上，大家都累得东倒西歪的。但是我相信，即使他们再累，心里也是快乐的。啊！美丽的北京，我们还会再见面的！
