小时候，我曾经听过一个蚂蚁和蟋蟀的故事。在炎炎夏日，蚂蚁每天都辛劳的工作；为了储存度过这寒气逼人的冬天所需要的粮食，忙得不可开交。这时，蟋蟀却在一旁玩乐，即使蚂蚁们好心劝告，也全然不理会，反而更是乐在其中。几个月匆匆过去了，天气也渐渐冷了下来。蚂蚁将粮食拿出来吃，即使冬天花草树木都枯萎了，它们依然丰衣足食；反之，蟋蟀未曾付出过任何努力去准备，自然不会有好的结果。

从这次的经验，我了解一件事，即使一个人再有能力、有天赋，也无法赢过一个有准备的人。法国微生物学家巴斯德说过：“有充分准备的人，才有最佳机会。”有准备的人不一定能成功，但一定能比毫无准备的人更早先抓住机会，增加自己挥洒的空间。就算最后胜利可能不在手中，但至少知道自己努力过、准备过，我虽败犹荣。
