曾经，人类在大自然中是那么的渺小。但是在所有的生物中，人是最聪明的，人类渐渐地学会了使用工具，主宰起了这个蓝色的星球。人类依靠牛来耕地和生产牛奶，依靠羊来产羊毛纺织御寒，他们驯服猎狗，骑着马去狩猎……人类的领地在慢慢地扩大，他们砍伐森林，填海造田，捕各种动物。人类为了获得动物漂亮的皮毛，为了做出精美的工艺品，去猎着原本属于蓝色星球一员的其他生命。
人类正为自己的愚昧而付出各种各样的惨重代价。当青蛙成为美食的时候，农田里的害虫早已泛滥成灾；当鸟儿在天空中消失的时候，果园里再也没有丰收的景象；老鼠肆虐大地，给人类带来饥荒和亡；当人类工厂排放的污水让鱼类消失的同时，也污染着自己的水源……人类正成为这个蓝色星球最大的破坏者。
