I am happy to receive your letter and I am glad to hear that you have good days recently. I hope you can keep your happiness all the time. But I am not happy these days, because I feel great pressures. Two weeks ago, I caught a cold and then had a fever. I could do nothing in those days. Therefore, I asked for leave for four days to stay at home. I came back to school until the midterm examination.

I was not surprised that I did not do well in the exam. It makes me unhappy. I worked so hard to prepare for it. My parents comfort me that I would be better if I had not been ill. I hope I can recover soon. And I hope you can take good care of yourself.

位置在下面称呼语隔一行，是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。和中文信不同的是，正文中一般不用Hello!(你好!

正文有缩进式和齐头式两种。每段书信第一行的第一个字母稍微向右缩进些，通常以五个字母为宜，每段第二行从左面顶格写起，这就是缩进式。

但美国人写信各段落往往不用缩进式，用齐头式，即每一行都从左面顶格写起。商务信件大都采用齐头式的写法。

大自然中的动物真是千奇百怪、各种各样。现在我向大家介绍一种动物，它跟我们中国人一样有着对后代强烈的爱。它是一只微不足道的蜘蛛。它为了刚出生的幼蜘蛛而‘牺牲’，我们的父母也在无微不至的照顾我们。

蜘蛛在生下幼蜘蛛的那一刻开始，已注定将要面临亡的命运蜘蛛在交配后，一天大约能产下5000多个卵子。这些卵需要经过12~14天，方可出来。大量刚出生的蜘蛛仔体内存有毒液，只要蜘蛛仔把毒液都输给母蜘蛛，就不会受到影响。因此母蜘蛛的肉体被毒液侵蚀，从而慢慢去，最后只剩下残壳。它们是伟大的母亲，我们的父母又何尝不是呢?

蜘蛛能为子女舍命，我们的父母能为我们作出博大的无私的爱。

在生活中，父母又着像蜘蛛的精神。也许我们生活中一点一滴都经过父母的照料，如今我们长大了，假如我们也能为他们做上一些力所能及的'事情，他们将会感到欣慰、自豪;或许父母在遇到困难，感到不适时，都不与我们诉说，却要为我们的生活而不操劳，现在我们已经独立了，假如我们也能多与他们。谈说自己学校生活中的快乐，他们也会变地开心，不为我们人操心。在父母误解我们时，需求不要烦恼，此时我们应该体谅他们，主动与他们倾谈。

其实父母不是万能的钥匙，也不是教育题材的榜样，但事实上他们每时每刻都为我们而努力发展和改造自己。总而言之我们要学会尊重、感恩父母，不要向蜘蛛仔学习，去感恩、孝顺他们吧，我也会努力的!

Is it surprising that I write the letter for you ? Not one time had I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for you face to face . But I’m so shy that I can’t do that .Thus , I decide to say thank you in this way .

Meeting you is the most fortunate thing in the world . Your emergence brightens my life deeply . You know ,I used to be such a shy ,a quiet girl . I was afraid of contacting with others so that I merely had pretty few friends . All days I stayed at home , and my life was dull . It was not until you volunteered to assist me that my life set out changing . You took me to wander the streets to observe the world which greatly broadened my eyes . You encouraged me to take part in kinds of activities that promoted my courage and confidence . You were always enthusiastic to introducing me to your friends when I was fear of expressing myself in public . The wonderful characters you own deserve me to learning .Your optimism and vigour impress me so much .

Now , I have become confident and outgoing . I can firmly confront the difficulties ,never shrink . My dear friend ,thanks for leading me to a new world , thanks for letting me feel shiny warmth and never making me lonely . Comparing to what you have dong for me , simple thanks seem to be minor , but it’s my sincere appreciation and gratefulness .

I have been living in Beijing for some time now and I find it very interesting here.

There are so many similarities between Beijing and London. They are both the capital of the country and are both very important cities. Both places have huge populations. They are both the economical, political and cultural center. They both have many historical and cultrual

I also found many differences in the two cities. In London we drive on the left side of the road, while in Beijing they drive on the right side. Most people in London go to work via public transportation, here in Beijing most people rides bycicles. In London the weather is always cloudy, here in Beijing most the the time it's sunny. And in London most student don't spend their time efficiently, but here in Beijing many people speak English cause they study hard.
