人们对动物的“威胁”正逐渐增大，这也就有必要谈谈保护动物了。
保护动物是十分重要的。现代生物学一直强调大自然与人的协调发展。动物是大自然的一部分，因此人应当与动物和睦相处，应当保护好他们，否则，会遭到惩罚的。蝗灾，恐怖的两个字。当蝗虫成群结队之后，所到之处没有一片叶子，给人类造成了巨大的损失，为何？我想大家都明白。田鼠，粮食的另外一种天敌，当猫头鹰进入人的肚子里时，粮食也正进入田鼠的肚子里，日子久了，或许也会出现一个新的名词“鼠灾”，到时，人又吃什么呢？我想结果大家也知道。难道这些报复还不够么？
因此，我认为保护动物，尤其是对人类有益的动物，尤为重要！同时，保护动物也是一种责任。人类的责任！
在古时，中国可以说是名副其实的天然动物园，是动物的天堂！李太白的诗中曾这样写到“两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山”，柳宗元也这样记载“潭中鱼可百许头”，醉翁先生也道出了“树林阴翳，鸣声上下”的热闹……类之记载数不胜数。但是，现在呢？河水清澈就实属不易，又怎么敢奢望“鱼可百许头”呢？再如，城市化夺走了动物们可爱的`家园，动物园抢夺了动物们珍贵的自由，川流不息的汽车竟也夺走他们的生命……我无言以对，人们对动物的伤害太深了！
我们伤害了他们，难道现在保护他们不是我们的一种责任么？
既然保护动物是一种责任，是十分重要的，那么我们应该如何保护他们呢？
我认为，应当首先提高每个人保护动物的意识，可以设置相应的公益广告和标语，尤其是少年儿童，应从小加强这类教育。其次，我觉的应当设定相应的法律条文，法律是强有力的武器，只要抓到位，就一定能很好的制止这类现象的发生。
当然，这一切都离不开大家，只要每个人做到位，我相信，美好的阳光就会普照在无数生灵的心中！
