光阴似剑，日月如梭。在这远远似火烧的夏季里，漫长的暑假已经结束。在这充实又快乐的暑假生活中，发生了许多有趣的是。其中最令我难忘的是那次发山的意外收获。因为在一次爬山的过程之后中，我不经意得到了一个意外的收获。
一个晴朗的早晨，爸爸提议去爬山，呼吸一下新鲜空气。于是我们来到将军山。这里绿草如茵，一棵棵参天大树像一把把绿色的大伞，为我们送来无边的青翠，听见了泉水潺潺，鸟儿啁啾，行走在这绿水青山之中，十分惬意。正当物美大步流星的向山顶进攻时。突然，我发现了一块大石头上有一个绿色的东西。过去一看，只见石头上裂开了一道缝，裂缝中长着一株不知名的小树。褐色的枝干虽然不是很强壮，但是玩讲的向上生长。一片片树叶碧绿碧绿的，傲然挺立在枝头上，仿佛在展示他顽强的生命力。
奇怪，一块大石头上居然可以长出小树，我疑惑不解，跑去问爸爸，爸爸说：“这棵小树之所以可以长在石头上，是因为小树有着顽强的生命力，把根须深深的扎进岩石中，吸收了石头中的养分。”
妈妈摸摸我的头，意味深长的说：“是呀，这棵小树不长在沃土中，却可以在岩石中茁壮成长。古人有句古诗：“咬定青山不放松，立根原在破岩中。”赞颂的是坚忍不拔的精神。希望你可以像小树一样，不管怎样都不要轻言放弃，做个坚强的人，
这个受用终生的启示深深的烙印在我的脑海里。每当我面临困难或产生放弃的念头时，就会小气妈妈的话，并警示自己要像岩石中茁壮成长的'小树一样，顽强的挺立于天地之间，昂首挺胸迈向人生大道，成为一棵参天大树……

我们第一站来到新会劳动大学。劳动大学前面是十分宽广的玉湖广场，广场的中央有一座周恩来总理视察新会的铜像。周总理面容和蔼，目光炯炯，手执蒲葵扇，右膝旁放着一顶草帽，坐在一块大石上，好像在与老百姓亲切交谈似的.。广场的四周种满红的黄的花草。我们又参观了周恩来总理视察新会图片展览。一踏进展厅，哇，太漂亮了。于是，我迫不及待地认真地观看每张图片。听导游说，周总理于1958年7月1日至7日莅临新会调研和视察的。每一张图片就是一个故事。给我难以忘怀的是周总理在周郡小学与一起学生上课的那张图片。这是总理对我们青少年一代的关怀和厚望啊！
之后，我们来到葵博园。这里的葵树长得葱葱郁郁，葵产品琳琅满目。我听说，新会葵是质量最好的，五六十年前就闻名国内外了。在展区里，我们看见几位工人在加工葵扇。听他们说，加工葵扇工序较复杂，晒扇、剪扇、合扇、焙扇、绣花，一个工序也不能少。他们还说，葵全身都是宝，葵骨可作牙签，葵柄用于烧火，制作扇剪下来的葵尾，可用来编织蓑衣。工人叔叔说，以前，许多农民是穿着它顶风挡雨的呢！
不知不觉，回校的时间到了。我们依依不舍离开那片葵林。我觉得，今天的参观既欣赏了新会美丽的风景，又增长了知识，我们的收获真不少啊！

举个例子来说，从前，有一位农夫，每天都到田里工作，有一天，农夫走到半路的时候，忽然有一只兔子从眼前跳过去，结果不小心撞到了一棵大树而昏到，农夫捡起兔子高兴的说：“我只要每天都到这里来等兔子，就有兔子可以卖钱，何必辛苦的下田工作?”之后一天、二天、三天，农夫却连一只兔子都没抓到，于是他想再回去种田，但是他的田早就荒芜了，反而更得不偿失。
俗语说:“一分耕耘，一分收获”。就以读书来比喻好了，我们读一本书就只能吸收到一本书的知识，如果读了十本呢？一百本呢？别人读一本书，我们读十本书，代表我们耕耘的比别人多，收获的当然也比别人多。
这又让人联想到了胡适曾说过的:”要怎么收获，先怎么栽”，做任何一件事，一定要脚踏实地的去努力，如果想要一步登天，那真是有如天方夜谭般，让你摔个四脚朝天，别净想那些不劳而获，不切实际的想法，倒不如努力耕耘，用心收获，才会有成功的一天。
